II. GROUPS

A. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Leadership Team –The purpose of the DEI Leadership Team is to makerecommendations to the President on matters related to the DEI project, concepts, and implementation steps. TheVP for Institutional Diversity (VPOID) will chair the team and will lead the overall Diversity, Equity, and InclusionProject and will be responsible for setting the DEI agenda, bringing forth topics for conversations, and running pointon decisions to be made.

B. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Workgroup – The purpose of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)Workgroup is to manage the day-to-day interactions related to all DEI projects. The DEI Workgroup convenesmultiple times per week for multiple hours at a time. The DEI Workgroup facilitates regular communications withProject Lead(s) and Executive Sponsors. The DEI Workgroup is led by multiple co-facilitators, who in turn worksclosely with the VPOID and the designated DEI Executive Sponsors and Project Leads. The DEI Workgroup provideadministrative support, support the communication plans, and facilitate the interactions between the DEI Workgroup,DEI Communication Group, the Advisory Groups, and the DEI Leadership Team.

C. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Communication Group – The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)Communication Group meets once a week at 3:30pm via teleconference. The purpose of the DEI CommunicationGroup is to foster broad campus conversation on the status of the DEI projects across the structural components andproject groups. It is comprised of Executive Sponsors and Project Leads (tbd); and it is convened by the designatedleaders of the overall DEI project.

D. Advisory Groups – Four discrete advisory groups will be created: faculty; staff; students; and community partners.Each advisory group serves to provide input, guidance, and feedback in all matters related to the overall DEI project,and works directly with member(s) from the DEI Leadership Team. The VPOID will work with all four advisory groups;in addition, the Provost will join the VPOID with the Faculty Advisory Group; the EVPFA will join the VPOID with theStaff Advisory Group; the Associate Provost for Academic and Student Affairs will join the VPOID for the StudentAdvisory Group; and the VPOID will work with the VP for University Relations for the Community Partners AdvisoryGroup.

E. Structural Components and Project Groups – Each of the six structural components (workstreams) is led by ExecutiveSponsors. The project groups are organized around these six structural components for institutional change and areled by Project Leads. Each project group has student, faculty and staff representation.

A. Talent - Faculty and Staff Workstream --- Executive Sponsors: Two individuals
