2014/2015 ANNUAL REPORT
The Leisuretime Centre is a large multi-purpose venue offering a range of indoor and outdoor sporting facilities. The venue is predominantly a participation-focused venue for the local community. Fourteen clubs and community groups operate from the Leisuretime Centre for sports such as basketball, badminton, futsal, netball and squash.
The Leisuretime Centre increased participation within the venue this year, developing and delivering many new and exciting programs and competitions such as Fast 5’s indoor netball and the masters 40+ futsal league.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS > Introduced new In-house Fast 5’s Indoor Netball
Competitions (Women’s & Mixed Leagues)
> Introduced new Futsal Leagues to the venue - Masters Over 40’s League & Women’s Futsal League
> Development and delivery of a new venue brand and style guide to enhance the venue and attract new business
> Maintained and strengthened relationships with 14 sporting clubs which utlise the venue on a regular basis
> Improved booking processes, data entry and reporting systems to truly reflect venue operations and usage
> Upgrade to Beggs Stadium with new LED lights installed and fresh paint throughout the entire stadium

> Introduced a marketing communications style guide
> Worked with partner organisations to develop a new walking football program
> Installed digital signage boards into Leisuretime’s Cafe for key venue information and promotions
> Expanded to external venues to cope with growth of junior futsal leagues during summer season

LEISURETIME CENTRE FUTSAL TEAMS
Futsal Geelong competitions are managed by the City of Greater Geelong and has enjoyed growth and success since its inception in 2008. Increased participation in junior futsal and building interest in new senior competitions has placed greater demand on the Leisuretime Centre in terms of all courts within the facility utlised at peak times.
