During this course everyone should make two diary entries a week about their day to day lives (7-10 sentences per entry)
Using books and magazines
Here’s a rule of thumb for books: Pick a random page, if you find around 5 words you’re unfamiliar with, keep it. If you find over 10 words you’re unfamiliar with, pick a different book.-Challenge yourself to only use context to understand the readings -Read translations of books you know well
-The Dwarf by Cho-Se Hui (난장이가 쏘아 올린 작은 공)-Use google to find English blogs of things you like, comment on the blogs if you feel confident-Visit newspaper websites Korea Times, New York Times,
Talk to native speakers
Native English speakers are everywhere!!
Find a language exchange through Craigslist or meetup
Don’t be embarrassed, it takes time and lots of failure before you will be comfortable

Practice Practice Practice
Speak English anywhere and anytime during the next 4 weeks. -Go to expat bars in Gangnam, Itaewon and Haebangchon and talk to the staff in English-Speak with your children and wives on the weekends in English (Don’t take any breaks)-When watching tv shows pause them and talk to the tv in English-Find English broadcasts of the World Cup and other sports at first row sports

example 1: I want to watch 24 and understand 75% of the dialog. I will achieve this by spending 4 hours per week watching 24 with and without subtitles
example 2: I want to have a comfortable conversation with a native speaker. I will accomplish this by having a language exchange 2 hours a week and making practice dialogs.
