The unified communications (UC) market of China is on track for massive growth in fields such as equipment, software, and service in 2009. With the ever-increasing development demand, the requirements of more and more enterprises for internal communications are not limited to low-cost communications offered by VoIP, but more requirements in terms of improving the communication efficiency, optimizing the business process and accelerating information transmission.

UC Optimizing the Business Process, Achieving Free Communication UC is one of the words with highest exposure rate in the entire IT and communications field at present. China Meteorological Administration is an organization directly affiliated to the State Council, which jointly leads meteorological departments at all levels with local governments. The

telephone station of China Meteorological Administration is responsible for providing telephone communications s ecur i ty and s e r v i ce fo r China Meteoro log ica l Administration. The solution of communications, with the aim of meeting demands of system security and enriching application, integrates rich functions in terms of business development and network construction (see the following figure). In June 2008, ICBCCS began to implement the UC solution of Huawei. Huawei completed the deployment after only one month and put the UC solution into operation.

According to the features and demands of ICBCCS, Huawei configures SoftCo 9500 broadband and narrowband integrated switch in the equipment rooms in the Financial Street as the office communications equipment for ICBCCS. The project construction contains two nodes: the node in Financial Street and the node in Yizhuang. Other branches access the node in Yizhuang through the IP network.

At present, ICBCCS mainly handles its business in the Financial Street and Yizhuang. To meet the demands of establishing branches, the solution of distribution networking can be adopted. This solution can effectively support many offices for business, realize the functions of UC including transfer of file from headquarters, instant messaging, and video conference. III. Carrier-Class Equipment Ensuring Safety and Stability, Unified Network Management Reducing the Maintenance Cost

China has developed rapidly in the urban railway construction. In 2010, the number of China’s urban railways will be up to 55 with a total distance of 1.5 thousand km, and over 6 thousand cars will be needed. Therefore, suppose that each car is worth around 6 million Yuan, the investment in the cars alone will be up to 3.6 billion Yuan. Flexible deployment and covering the large area

According to the scheme, the entire communication system in CRC is divided into five parts: the core communication system, the analog hone access in the Luyuan park area, the IP phone access, the former phone access in the Qingnian Road park area, and the voice relay and transmission bearer network construction.
