overseeing a corporation’s human resource information system (HRIS)? If so, this exceptional
opportunity may be exactly for you. Well-established regional corporation seeking skilled HRIS
professional to fulfill role of HRIS Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee and provide support for HRIS department
Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools;
develop and administer standard reports
Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
Manage the design and mapping of all HRIS tables to ensure accurate data capture that
promotes prudent compliance and enables comprehensive reporting
Review Personnel Action Forms and Service Request Forms to ensure proper HRIS data entry
functions are available (job codes/supervisory authorities)
Ensure accurate documentation process manuals are designed and updated for HRIS processes
Develop user friendly procedures, guidelines and documentation
Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRMS system upgrades or patches
Collaborate with IT staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix
Collaborate with HRMS users (Payroll, Accounting, Projects, etc.) to ensure integrity of the HRIS
Advise management on organizational policy matters related to the HRIS
Maintain a thorough understanding of employment regulations, industry trends, current
practices, new developments, applicable laws, and employment legislation pertaining to all
personnel matters, and various federal requirements
Provide general HR related assistance as requested
Occasional travel may be required for work assignments at other locations
Qualifications
High school graduate/GED or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, computer sciences or related field
May substitute equivalent relevant work experience AND minimum three (3) years of
HRIS implementation and administration in management level position for education
Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and
benefit procedures in order to ensure correct implementation
Thorough knowledge of HRMS database design, structure, functions and processes, and
experience with database tools
Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related
projects

Preferences
One to two years of database/project management experience
Systems implementations experience
Certification as a PHR or SPHR or the ability to obtain certification within one year of hire
