You need to know how to read
your advising report. An
advisor will help you
determine exactly what

placement scores will print on
your advising report, usually on
page 2. Here is a sample of
Reading, Writing and Math
Scores for a student whose
scores will require that he/she
register for some
Development courses.

Students are required to demonstrate computer literacy by either passing the Computer
Literacy Skills Placement test or completing an approved course with a grade of C or better.
Students are required to enroll and successfully complete an approved computer literacy
course in the second semester of enrollment if they have not demonstrated computer literacy
skills.
Important information for your first semester!Usually on page 3 you’ll find
the pre-core courses
required for ALL students
entering RLC with fewer
than 12 college level credit
hours.

beginning of their college
work.
Note: Course prerequisites must be met even when a student is TSI exempt or waived.
