government websites for the past couple of years , they have only just published their digital participation strategy on the 14th April 2014. With a world of challenges and benefits of a digital channel shift what should we consider today to create a "virus for change" and help those who are not digitally enabled to make use of technology for their own personal benefit which in turn can help save cost and develop new services which we can jointly deliver.

13.45 Workshops (repeated from morning)

14.45 Big data

Jim Vine, Director of Innovation and Business Development, HACT @jim_vine

Paul Foster, Principle Technical Evangelist, Microsoft UK @paulfo

It has been suggested that it’s time the housing sector raised its game on data, creating its own shared big data resource, pooling data resources from across the sector for shared insights, data-led innovation and the development of new tools. But it shouldn't stop at existing sources of data, and if we’re going to make the most if it, we need to look beyond the sector for ground breaking expertise. Our two expert speakers will explain why.
