Hello Directors Thank you for your feedback from our initial marching survey back in January. We are excited to announce that for this fall, we would like to invite you to participate in the inaugural season of the Central Jersey Marching Festivals! Produced in partnership with CJMEA, our three events will present area bands with the opportunity to receive feedback from world-class adjudicators in a friendly, yet competitive atmosphere. Our adjudicator panels will include DCI, WGI, DCA, and BOA judges, along with others with extensive experience in the marching arts. This fall, shows will occur on the following dates: * October 12, J.P. Stevens High School * October 19, Monroe Township High School * October 26, East Brunswick High School Cost to Participate: $100 per show that you choose to attend. The home directors of each show that you choose to attend will reach out to you upon completing registration with regards to payment. Adjudication: Each show will have five adjudicators- Music Individual, Music Ensemble, Music General Effect, Visual Ensemble, Visual General Effect. The judge’s sheets will be the same for all three events, and we will send copies of them to you in advance of the shows. There will be no critique at these events, but recorded commentary will be provided electronically to you from each adjudicator. There will also be four classifications for bands competing at each show: * A = 0-55 Total Members * AA = 56-80 * AAA = 81-110 * AAAA = 111 and up As directors, we are excited to offer marching shows that focus on positive and constructive feedback from the best in the business, along with a friendly, yet competitive atmosphere for bands within our Region. All of our bands will be attending each of these three shows this fall, and we are excited to offer an alternative to many of the large circuits that have dominated the marching arts in our area for so long.
