Have a

Very Merry

Christmas!

Congratulations!

Ingrid Lee and Dean are getting married January 3, 2016 aboard the Nieuw Amsterdam and then taking off for the islands!

Congratulations!

Please welcome to the ESC 6 family, Margaret Barnes’ precious grandson Benjamin! He was born on December 2nd, weighing 8 pounds, 1 ounce and 21 3/4 inches long. Proud parents are Andrea and Rudy Trevino!

Thank You! From Esther Cousins… We had 18 people sign in. Our goal was 12 whole blood and 6 au-tomated (double red cells/plasma). Stephen, the supervisor, said he thought we got more than our goal for automated. That’s great! Thanks, everyone that donated! You helped save up to 54 people. What a nice Christmas gift! Thanks again for sharing your blood for those who need it so badly!

The pictures speak for themselves! :-)

Above: Kaitlynn and Deneen’s reaction when Cindy Scott was driving! Below: Dr. Hall trying to run over the innocent photographer!

Top Left: Mr. Park taking a spin! Top Right: Mr. Holland giving a “thumbs up”

Bottom Left: Dr. Hall did great handling the skids! Bottom Right: Mr. Holland seemed to have a good time spinning the car!

All of the photos are in the Photo Gallery on the Intranet!

If you took photos or video, please let me know and we will add it to the next newsletter! Click here to see a video that Ethan took during his drive.

Top: Gabby had a winning reaction with yelling “Jesus take the wheel!” during one of her skids! Bottom: Brandi’s reaction to Dr. Hall taking over the driving!

Favorite Christmas Present What would you like Santa to bring you this Christmas?

Christmas Tradition

Teresa Anderson Amethyst earrings from my husband that he chose with no help from me!

If Santa can swing it, I’d like a mountain cabin and a beach bungalow. Or maybe just the cash, I’m flexible. :)

Making “paintbrush cookies” (sugar cookies decorated with egg yolk food-coloring “paint” using a small watercolor brush). My mom started this over 40 years ago and now we have a third generation doing it!

Books, Books, Books!!! (or a gift card to Barnes and No-ble!) Every year I get books and I love it. (And I enjoy giving books too!)

A muscle car!?!?!? Seri-ously, I don’t really need anything! I always ask for the kids to make me ornaments that have a photo from the current year, so each year when the tree is decorated, it’s a memo-rable experience.

As a family, we go out on Christmas Eve and sing to our friends who may be alone (or lonely) for the holidays! The kids always bring friends (and spouses) so the more the merri-er, and it’s heartwarming! My favorite experience with this was when Clint and Micah burst into Feliz Navidad one year for Mrs. Zena. After all, Christmas is about giving, not receiving!

Jesus! A doll I got when I was little, and seeing the excitement of my kids and now my grandson on Christ-mas morning.

TV and my kids a place to live!

Putting out the Nativity set.

Jordan McMillian My engagement ring. Jona-than proposed right before Christmas last year.

A helicopter so we can see all of our family and friends.

On Christmas morning we AL-WAYS have cinnamon rolls for breakfast while we open pre-sents. One year Jonathan wanted to have something different and I had to set him straight real quick.

Danna Mitschke Getting my dachshund, Rex. Pandora jewelry Pajamas and movies on Christ-mas Eve night with my girls.

Bonney Monjaras

Anything my kids make me is wonderful. The best pre-sent Santa ever brought me was a real cash register so I could pretend I worked at Walmart.

Lots of money

Christmas eve we make hot chocolate and drive around looking at Christmas lights. This is a tradition we did when I was a kid and I now do with my kids.

Robin Oberg A safe trip to visit my sister in Colorado.

Dancing with my children, hus-band, and the “Dancing Santa” that plays Jingle Bell Rock (while we bake Christmas cook-ies).

Josie Padilla

I believe the best Christmas present was the little black doll that my sister did not want and I took it.

I would like to bring True Peace, Joy, Hope, and Love to Everyone.

My Christmas tradition is to make sure I send out Christmas cards to my friends, bake good-ies, visit friends, and most im-portant...participate in Mid-night Mass!

Cynthia Scott 8-Track tape player when I was 12.

My son-in-law back from Kuwait for my daughter and grand-babies.

Opening presents with family on Christmas Eve.

Traci Seils

My favorite Christmas pre-sent was from my husband. One year he gave me a trip for my sister and I—all ex-penses paid! We went to Fredericksburg and stayed at a winery. It was the first trip she and I went on to-gether, and has led to sev-eral more.

This Christmas I want Santa (my husband Mike) to bring me a summer trip to Alaska. I have heard I may get my wish!

A Christmas tradition that has developed in the last 10 years is on Christmas day we go to my sister Alicia’s house, everyone brings appetizers, and she makes several Italian dishes. We have a little tour of Italy! No, we are not Italian. We are all just tired of traditional holi-day food by then.

Mary Thaler A red convertible my hus-band bought me 2 days be-fore Christmas.

A Happy, Healthy, and Safe New Year for my family, friends, and my ESC 6 family.

We always go to candlelight service on Christmas Eve. We then come home and open pre-sents, snack while listening to Christmas music.
