SEEK ETERNAL
ABHANGA 1
Chant God!
Seek God ever!
Each moment chant the name!
This is the way to inward journey!
And way to Anand
Its merits are infinite
Yet beyond human cognition

Mind can encompass these not
Infinite can contain not in the finite
Certainly one day this will lead you to the self- Realization
Be involved in worldly and its activities
Yet still let the tongue be soaked in the Divine Name.
Thus will continue the remembrance
And divine presence too deep within
Only then you can hear the dissolving notes
Notes of an enchanting melody - BlissScriptures extol this in many ways
Dnyandev sings the glory as melody of the being Haripath,
Vyasa, confirmed this, as he enchanted the Song Eternal,
Seek therefore the Lord deep within the temple of eternity
Deep within the recess of your body dwells the Lord of
Dwarika!
Seek within therefore this enchanting Melody of Path to
Divinity!
Choose a comfortable position as we enter the meditation
through the first Abhanga Seek Eternal. Make sure your
back is straight and you are comfortable. These two thingsare essential. You can assume any position or posture of your
choice.
Now listen to each word as it overflows and riding the wings
of your incoming breath it reaches the center of your being.
And as the energy reaches the center of your being and
begins the outward journey the other process begins. One

creates the center within. And the other creates the center
outside. And together these create the bridge.
The first bridge, therefore, is created by incoming and
outgoing breath.
Seek eternal!! Seek eternal!! Seek eternal!!!
How one can seek eternal? The journey begins by chanting,
singing the name of that whose formful existence you seek ina saint, or master. Dnyandev envisioned this through Nivritii.
He sought the formless through the formfulness of his Guru.
Seek the formless through Dnyandev.
Chant! Seek! Sing!
And meditate each finite moment on the formless.
In the beginning of your journey you have to begin ritualistic
way of singing. This is the only way known to you. However,
as the journey continues one day a bridge is created. And
through this bridge of awareness you connect the two shores
of formful and formless. You have sought eternal.
Each moment chant the name! This is the way to inward journey!
And way to Anand
Why should you seek eternal? Bliss you attain not from
outside. Nectar lies not in the pollen instead in the process
that transforms pollen into nectar. The sweet nectarine juice

one finds not on the surface. For this you need to go deep
within.
Inward journey is the essence of mans finite existence. Its
merits are infinite. Yet beyond human cognition! Mind can
encompass these not.
Infinite can contain not in the finite. Continue inward
journey!
Certainly one day this will lead you to self - Realization. Beinvolved in worldly and its activities. Yet still let the tongue
be soaked in the Divine Name. That alone is the essence.
Thus will continue the remembrance! And divine presence
too deep within! Only then you can hear the dissolving notes
of an enchanting melody as Bliss.
Scriptures extol this in many ways! Remember O friend!Dnyandev sings the glory as melody of the being
Haripath. Vyasa, confirmed this, as he enchanted the Song
Eternal.
Seek therefore, the Lord deep within the temple of eternity.
Deep within the recess of your body dwells the Lord of
Dwarika!
Seek within therefore this enchanting Melody of Path to
Divinity!
Remain like this. There is no rush! Now slowly and slowly
open your eyes! Continue to imbibe the essence of this
overflow.

His knowledge is in vain,
Who speaks of everything but Vishnu? The All-Pervading, Omnipresent Lord

He who does not become aware of Advaita one ness, unity
How can he be established and seek rest in the Divine Name?
Unless the duality is dissolved by the Gurus grace
How a person with no knowledge can ever sing the name of
Divine?
Relish the sweetness of Divine name, sings Dnyandev
Chanting the Name of Lord is Saguna Dhyan Qualitative
Meditation
Chanting the Name is seeking the silence amidst dualityOne may be busy with daily chores of making his living
But if the mind is focused on the Name he attains
Certainly the tranquillity of mind!
Life is a journey of transcendence. Through transcendence
one attains to fruition. This fruition is oneness beyond all
duality.
This Abhanga seeks to explain this. As an individual you
continue to identify with ever - changing instruments of
experience. And thus, you continue to live a superficial life.
Various sense organs and the objects and beings constitute
the field of experience. Thus, there remains a duality
between the experiencer, the object, and the process ofexperiencing. These remain constantly changing and are a
source of pain and agony.
When the process of devotion begins, love plays its role.
Slowly and slowly your identification with the outer world
begins to change. You begin to move towards the Changeless,
the Immutable. With this, the sense of mortality also begins

to vanish. You continue to experience the Immutable and
thus the state of Immortality.
The Abhanga begins in a different way. However the essence
remains the same. Dnyandev sings all knowledge is in vain if
it leads not to the all - Pervading, Omnipresence that he
sought through Vishnu the preserver of the creation as
trinity. He further explains this for your understanding as he
sings: one whose mind does not dwell in Rama and Krishna
such a person is unfortunate indeed.
To Dnyandev Rama represents one whose essence showers
Bliss. And Krishna who attracts everything! Thus having
born into the world of duality if you do not become aware of
Advaita one ness, unity how can you be established and
seek rest in the Divine Name? Unless the duality is dissolvedby the Gurus grace, how a person with no knowledge can
ever sing the name of Divine? Relish the sweetness of Divine
name, sings Dnyandev. Attaining to inner oneness leads to
eternity. The essence of this all is immortaliy.
What is IMMORTALITY mind wonders? Immortality, in fact, refers to a state when your identification completely changes
from the outer world of duality to an inner world of
consciousness. You realize that this world is a fine stage
where we come to play our part as guided by accumulated
actions, and actions that you perform in the absence of the
experience of TRUTH. When you experience the changeless

within, your entire gestalt changes! You look at the world
and its phenomenon in a different light.
Then you do not accumulate any more actions and the
accumulated actions begin to dissolve. And the duality
between experiences and that, which is experienced, vanish.
You experience oneness. Your finite consciousness merges
with the Supreme consciousness. You experience that which
is never born and never dies. Know this as the state of
Immortality. You realize you are not body. Body is a part ofyou, but not you. Body is mortal. And the one that dwells
within is the immortal.
In this state you not only experience the Immortal within,
instead, you envision this all around. To you, then, everything
appears pulsating with THAT. You come to know that the
body is ever changing and that what you have experienced
remains Immortal. And thus, continues the journey. Once theprocess of inward journey begins and the aspirant discovers
within him the spark of Supreme Devotion for the Lord, love
begins to overflow both within and without. Thus, such an
aspirant attains all that has to be attained! Narad says, such a
person becomes a SIDDHA. Not that he gains certain psychic
powers which he may start exhibiting as his power over the
phenomena! This does not refer to the eight Siddhis asdescribed by Krishna.
One who aspires for total annihilation in the Lord does not
care about such power gains. He rejects these. The Purana
describes that these eight Siddhis always await a devotee.
And such psychic power awaits the devotee to use them. But
once you move towards this direction, you have actually

deviated from the path. The word Siddhi only refers to the
highest form of devotion for the Supreme. One who gives his
heart to ME and aspires nothing but ME and neither the stateof Brahmahood nor the throne of Indra, nor cheap psychic
powers as Siddhis, is ever dear to ME.
Devotion happens when your heart begins to overflow with
love. And love is fulfillment onto itself. When an aspirant is
full of this subtle force within him, he is filled with infinite
fulfillment. He lacks nothing. Rich and overflowing with love,
he lives on! Such a state is changeless. Thus he gains
IMMORTALITY. He remains ever contented under all
situations that life brings.
Name is the meditation of Infinite. When the boundaries of
finiteness or all that divides vanish, one dissolves into theInfinite Ocean of One - ness. Thus begins inward journey
through the realms of oneness. Guru destroys all the walls of
separation. Chanting the Name is seeking the silence amidst
duality. You may be busy with daily chores of making your
living but if the mind is focused on the Name he attains
certainly the tranquility of mind!
At this moment there is nothing more can be added. This is
the ultimate flowering.
Only this much for now and with this overflow as the
compassion
