Group Managing Director& Chief Executive O�cerHandal Resources Berhad

Encik Mallek Rizal bin Mohsin is the Managing Director and Chief Executive O�cer of the Group. He is also the Executive Director of Handal O�shore Services Sdn Bhd, Handal Engineering Sdn Bhd and Handrill Sdn Bhd. He was appointed to the Board on 7 May 2009.He is a quali�ed Chartered Accountant from the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants New Zealand (ICANZ). Also, he holds a Bachelor of Management Studies from the Univer-sity of Waikato, New Zealand. He has extensive working experience from the various positions that he holds at major corporations prior to joining Handal. Among others, he was the Auditor for Price Waterhouse (currently known as PricewaterhouseCoopers), Assistant Manager of Corporate Finance at Amanah Merchant Bank Berhad, Corporate Services Manager for ACP Industries Berhad and Special Assistant Corporate Finance of the President’s O�ce for Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad as well as Chief Financial O�cer for Putera Capital Berhad

Handrill Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary company under the Handal Group, was incorporated on 11 January 2008 under the Compa-nies Act 1965 in Malaysia, to focusing on the business in the upstream oil and gas related activities especially in drilling, workover and drilling management.

The active involvement of Handrill in O&G begins in 2011 with registered license by Petronas, Handrill undertook a new business of fabrication of drilling rig, which is lightweight type and can be a modular, ideal for shallow and medium depth oil �eld exploration and extraction for o�shore and onshore.

Our �rst rig “Handal 1” which is being assembled at our Telok Kalong in 2013. The strength keys of this type of rig are the top drive, iron roughneck, and side track drilling capabilities of up to 12,000 feet. It is ideal for marginal oil �eld exploration and extraction due to their cost-e�ectiveness and deployment versatility.

Working Experience

Ahmad Mokri

Director, 56 Aged, Malaysian.

He holds the Diploma in Petroleum Engineering and joined Petronas as Drilling

Engineer in 1983. Has vast hands-on experience in the technical, operation and

management in aspect of drilling, work over, completion and well services. These

included operation planning and co-ordination, tender and contract

management. With these experiences and skills he held various positions in

Petronas such as Team Leader, Senior Drilling Engineer and Head of Drilling.

Between 1998 until now, he held various positions as CEO, General

Manager, Technical Advisor and Director in various companies that related

to Drilling and Work over operation locally and internationally.

Mohamad Hasni Mohd Said

Business Development Manager, aged 40, Malaysian

He holds the Executive Diploma in Industrial Technology Management with

more than 14 years experience in Oil and Gas industries.

Management skills obtained from direct involvements in offshore operation

including various platforms operations, refurbishes, mobilizations and stack

preparation of various rigs with number of contractors in Malaysia. Gained

a marketing and communication skills in various level of management locally

and internationally.

Mohd Ariffin Daud

Technical Advisor, Aged 60, Malaysian

He holds Bachelor in Petroleum & Natural Gas and started his career as Reservoir

Engineer with Exxon Mobil from1982 to 1983. From 1983 onwards, he had

assumed several position in Petronas Carigali such as Drilling Engineer,

Executive Kemaman Supply Base warehouse, Head of Procument (PMO),

Senior Engineer (Contract & Budget Division), Workover Manager, Drilling

He holds a BSc. Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, he started his career with

a local company namely, AceTimur Drilling whichis a kxal representative for COSL-Drilling

Private Limited (CDPL) in Malaysia. He participated with planning and execution of D-18 drilling

campaign(Baker-PCSB)with COSLBossJackupRigTeamasoperationsengineer,andleadafew

key equipment maintenanceandsafetyaudit projects for COSLBoss.He also involved directly

preparing tenders, invoices and technical clarification for Ace Timur.

� Higher columns combined with Deeper Operational Draft provide a larger air gap and a more stable platform.

� Improved hydrodynamic performance allows the BT-3500 to work in waters too harsh for the present fleet of Tender Drilling Units.

� The design incorporates the latest changes and updates in vessel and drilling system design rules and regulations including those of ABS, IMO and API.

� With the largest crane of any Semi-Tender, the BT-3500 can operate on SPARs and TLPs other Semi-Tender rigs cannot reach and provides a much greater stand-off distance during rig-up / rig-down and drilling operations.

� The BT-3500 is the first Tender Drilling Unit with a Mast Equipment Package (MEP) specifically designed for the dynamic loads of floating platforms.

� Higher variable deck load (VDL), increase fluids, and power capacity, as well as increased bulk, fluids, and power capacity, as well as increased hookload (1,300 lips static) mean deeper drilling capacity.

� A self-propelled option is available with low voltage thrusters for ultra-fine positioning alongside platforms and weather avoidance.
