Now that you have signed up to take part in the challenge you can start registering

employees to take part in the challenge using the enclosed form. There is a poster on the

back of this leaflet which you can use to promote the challenge within your business.

Once you have registered all the employees who wish to take part, send the registration

forms to the contact below and the pedometers will be delivered to your workplace.

The challenge officially starts on Monday 5th May so all registrations and pedometer

handouts must be completed by then.

Once the challenge is over, collect the step logs from employees who took part and send

them in. The winning business will be calculated by taking the average number of steps

taken per employee.

Steps both inside and outside of work count so employeesshould include steps taken in their own time.

It is up to the employer to decide if employees can join thechallenge after it has started.

If an employee drops out of the challenge they can either bereplaced by another member of staff or you can request forthem to be removed from the total step count.

Everyone who enters the challenge will be entered into aprize draw. There will not be an individual winner.

The will be an overall business winner for the business whoseemployees, on average, took the most steps.

We have signed up to take part in Healthy

Tamworth’s Workplace Walking Challenge.

This is an 8 week challenge which will see us

competing with other Tamworth workplaces

to see who can take the most steps.

Walking is simple, free and one of the easiest

ways to get more active, lose weight and

become healthier.
