How to organize promo-tables?

Why?

to attract students to visit presentation/to apply for internship good channel of direct communication with our target audience

Where? When?

organize promo tables on breaks in universities

Who?

on promo tables there should be old AIESECers, EB or OC. You can put 1 EB member + 1 new member. It will be good opportunity to teach him/her how to talk about AIESEC and our internship program on practice

Table More than 1 AIESECer!!! on promo table (1 AIESECer can't work effective on promo table coz it’s

hard to him to inform a lot of people) Interns! Posters (your table should be decorated with posters) Flyers Application forms Letter from the administration of university that you have the rights to provide this promotable Check list for people who want to get information about AIESEC events by sms or e-mail. This will

helps you to gather informational about potential members or TA for your future events.

Flags of countries (only countries included in “Youth for the world” internship program) – it can be some pictures (paintings of the flag in order not to buy expensive flags)

Big world map, on which you mark countries with pins or stickers (you can also put stickers with names of most popular projects and issue of suitable countries. Use colors – you can mark ecological projects with green stickers, etc.)

Globe Projector (if u are lucky! ) AIESEC T-shirts for guys who are on promo table Printed information about projects in all countries (for people who are on promo-table not to lose

themselves while talking about variety of projects) Printed schedules with all presentations for students (min 30 on one promo table) Printed with a big letters time and place of next presentation which is standing!!! (not lying!!) Brain and smile!!!!!!!!

The promo-table is based on the internship program “Youth for the world”. Student’s attention will be attracted mostly by maps/globe and flags. Your task is to ask students about the issue they are interested most: education or ecology. Having received the answer you need to explain students how they can influence on the certain issue and contribute to achieving the UN Millenium goals:

You can show on the map countries and describe the projects they can participate.
