Bamboo Products
Bamboo products are a more natural way of creating clothing and cleansers for your infants. Companies extract the fibers of the bamboo and weave them into articles of clothing such as onesies, pajamas, and bath towel robes for babies. This will keep the children from getting too hot or too cold because of it’s natural ability to regulate temperature, which is difficult for newborns to do. It is also two times as absorbent as cotton and is more resistant to odors so that potty training will be more comfortable for you and your baby.
I think that this product would be great to use. I like the fact that my baby would be more comfortable because of the softness of the fibers. Also you aren’t cutting down as much forest for things such as cotton, when bamboo grows so much faster. I would definitely use this product in my own home.

Making Organic Food
Most people make their own food by blending raw fruits and vegetables, and then freezing them until they are ready for the baby to be eat them. When it is meal time you simply soften them in the microwave, and they are ready for the baby to eat. Organic foods are not only healthier for the baby but they keep the cost of baby food down, since you are not paying for expensive “name brand” products. Newborns are receiving more nutrients and less additives for your dollar.
I would most definitely use this technique of green parenting. Not because it is green, mainly just because of the simplicity and cost reduction of making my own food. I think it is a very crafty way to keep the money in your pocket and get everything that your baby needs.

Organic Mattress
I would use an Organic mattress because it’s increased comfort for the baby. Even though these beds are not exactly price efficient, my baby is worth it. I like the benefits of not having a lot of allergens floating around my baby’s head, and I like the fact that it is insulated so that the baby stays warm all night long. It takes a lot of stress away from the parents when our baby will sleep for as long as possible. Another benefit is that there is less dust collection thus requiring less cleaning.

Making Your Own Cleaning Products
Making your own cleaning products is an easy job, but there are multiple things that you have to be aware of when mixing different chemicals. Most people would have trouble with having to take the time to do things such as reading labels and doing the research to make sure that you are mixing the right things. This form of green products saves you a lot of money and could be great as long as you know what you are doing, and make sure to keep your baby, and your family’s health in mind.
I do not honestly think I would go this far in being green, I do not have the time nor the patience to try and research and create my own cleaning products. Cleaning is already a hassle as it is, I don’t want to spend more time doing it.
