Il numero tre ha da sempre rivestito un ruolo fondamentale ed emblematico nella storia. La simbologia legata a questo numero attraversa in maniera trasversale i secoli. Dalla scuola pitagorica fino al Medioevo, al tre sono stati attribuiti significati esoterici e simbolici, ma da sempre il filo conduttore tra le varie interpretazioni è stata la sua connotazione di perfezione.

Negli anni, perfezione e magia sono stati anche per noi del Cantiere del Pardo elementi essenziali e altrettanto importante è stato il numero tre: siamo ripartiti tre anni fa, abbiamo visto le vendite triplicarsi, tre sono stati i nuovi modelli a vela varati (GS 46LC, GS 58 e GS 52LC), ma non ci siamo fermati qui: abbiamo infatti creato tre divisioni indipendenti sotto il marchio CANTIERE DEL PARDO.

Tre divisioni per tre marchi divenuti già importanti: Grand Soleil Yachts, Grand Soleil Custom Line, dedicato alla nuovissima linea Maxi Yacht e, infine, la sorpresa PARDO Yachts, marchio che caratterizza la nuova, affascinante ed elegante linea a motore, di cui il primo modello è stato presentato in anteprima a Cannes e a Genova. Successo incredibile, ma soprattutto gratificante se pensiamo ai numeri: venticinque barche vendute a soli tre mesi dalla presentazione ufficiale (sempre il numero tre) sono segno di grande apprezzamento da parte del mercato.

Confondersi con gli altri diventa sempre più difficile, grazie alla nostra innovativa proposta dei prodotti sul mercato.Non solo: la differenza è data anche e soprattutto dal modo in cui ci presentiamo e dalle nostre tre nuove divisioni… Il numero perfetto.

Number three has always had an emblematic and primary role in history. Its symbolism has inspired people across the centuries: from the Pythagoreanism to the Middle Age, number three has had many esoteric and symbolic meanings. Despite of that, the leading thread between the various connotations has always been the concept of perfection.

Across the years, perfection and magic have been key factors for Cantiere del Pardo. Number three has been essential and recurring as well. We started more than three years ago, sales have tripled, three new sail models have joined the market (GS 46LC, GS 58 and GS 52LC), and much more. We have been creating three independent units under the brand of CANTIERE DEL PARDO.

Those three units have already become of great importance: Grand Soleil Yachts, Grand Soleil Custom Line, dedicated to the brand new Maxi Yacht line and finally the new, smart and elegant PARDO Yachts line, which has been first shown in Cannes and in Genoa. Numbers speak clearly: it has been not only a great success, but also gratifying. Three months have passed since the motor boat has been launched on the market and twenty-five boats have been sold so far. We enjoy a worldwide appreciation!

Thanks to our constant product innovation, being confused with our competitors has become more and more difficult.But there is more: the way we introduce ourselves and the three, new divisions make the difference. And it proves once again that three is the perfect number.

Il nuovo GS 48 coniuga comfort, qualità e performance grazie all’utilizzo di tecniche d’avanguardia e di primo livello. “Race” version, thanks to the fully equipped and well-positioned deck, competing has never been so exciting. The interiors follow the same philosophy: it is possible to disassemble various parts. Il 28 maggio si è conclusa a Cala Galera un’altra entusiasmante Grand Soleil Cup. Dopo due intense giornate di regate coronate da un meteo perfetto, volge al termine un’edizione da record, con ben 61 barche sulla linea di partenza. Tanti nuovi Grand Soleil in acqua, fra cui 5 Grand Soleil 46 LC, GS 43 e GS 58. Un grande ringraziamento alla Pierservice, nostro agente di zona, al circolo CNVA, alla Marina di Cala Galera e ai nostri carissimi armatori che condividono la passione per i Grand Soleil.

Another exciting Grand Soleil Cup edition has concluded on the 28th of May after two intense, sunny days of races. This record edition has involved 61 boats. Thousands of new Grand Soleil in water, including 5 Grand Soleil 46 LC, many GS 43 as well as GS 58. Grand Soleil è stato uno dei cantieri

protagonisti nell’edizione della Barcolana 2017,

svoltasi a Trieste dal 4 all’8 ottobre scorso.

In occasione della regata più affollata del

mondo, il nostro cantiere ha infatti avuto una

base operativa dove ospiti ed armatori hanno

avuto la possibilità di vedere da vicino il GS

58 Performance, protagonista indiscusso della

regata guadagnando il 58° posto assoluto,

con a bordo tutto il Consiglio Federale della

FIV. “Grazie a Grand Soleil, - ha dichiarato

il presidente della Barcolana, Mitja Gialuz,

poco prima dell’evento - che ha accolto il

nostro invito ed è diventato protagonista

della nostra Barcolana: attendiamo a braccia

aperte tutti gli armatori, che con scafi prodotti

nel tempo da questo prestigioso cantiere

contribuiscono a rendere unica e bellissima

la regata”.

Grand Soleil has been one of the main

characters participating at Barcolana Edition

2017, which took place in Trieste from the

4th to the 8th of October.

Our shipyard has had a key role during

the most crowded race of the year. Guests

and owners have had the possibility to see

our GS58 Performance closer. The GS 58,

which has hosted the entire FIV General

Council aboard, has been with no doubt the

uncontested leader of the race, ranking at

the 58th place. Before the event, President

of Barcolana Mitja Gialuz has stated: “Thanks

to Grand Soleil for having accepted our

invitation: it has become the main character

of Barcolana. We are looking forward to

meeting all the owners and their Grand

Soleil boats that contribute making this

event unique and unforgettable”.

la commissione dell’EYOTY ha nominato

il GS 34 come candidato al titolo di barca

dell’anno per la categoria Performance

Cruiser. Durante la consueta Flagship

Night saranno nominati i vincitori.

Boot 2018, the EYOTY commission has

nominated the GS 34 as designed to

be announced during the Flagship Night.

GS 34 BARCA SENZA TEMPO: A GENOVA TRA PASSATO E PRESENTE GS 34, A TIMELESS BEAUTY BETWEEN PAST AND PRESENT

Non era facile “pensare” la GS 34: sostituire

la leggendaria 34 (sulla destra) progettata

dal gruppo Finot negli anni ’70, una barca

dalle modernissime soluzioni interne,

caratterizzate da grande abitabilità,

ampi volumi per lo stivaggio e versatilità

nell’utilizzo degli spazi in dinette... associate

a doti marine e velocità ineguagliabili

per quegli anni. La “nuova” GS 34 è una

barca certamente concepita più per la

regata che per la crociera, ma che tuttavia

sorprende per la eleganza degli interni, per

le dimensioni della cabina armatoriale a

poppa, per la versatilità dello spazio a prua,

per la altezza sotto coperta e tanto altro.

Thinking about the new GS 34? It was

not easy. Replacing the legendary 34

(on the right) designed by Finot in the

1970s, has been a challenge. That was

a boat with modern internal spaces,

characterized by a great habitability,

many storage areas and a versatile, wide

saloon…together with incomparable

characteristics for those years – it was

very fast and performing. Sure, the “new”

GS 34 was born to race rather than to

cruise. However, this great boat amazes

for its elegant interiors, the width of the

aft owner’s cabin, the versatility of the

bow and the height below deck.

Grand Soleil non è solo competizione,

ma anche passione. E’ proprio questo il

filo conduttore che unisce questi quattro

personaggi. Oltre i confini di età, nazionalità

e genere, Grand Soleil ha accompagnato i

propri armatori in un viaggio oltreoceano.

Lele Panzeri, 65 anni, armatore di Carletto

Primo, un Grand Soleil 46 del 1987, sta

compiendo la traversata dell’Oceano

Atlantico e del Mediterraneo, da Santo

Domingo a Carloforte (Sardegna).

Anne-Cécile e Damien, armatori francesi

di Yaga, un Grand Soleil 34, hanno

letteralmente fatto il giro del mondo,

mentre Charlotte Krebs, che ha anche

partecipato alla GS Cup a maggio con

il suo GS 40 “Paperini”, ha iniziato, nel

mese di novembre, la traversata atlantica,

prevedendo di concludere l’impresa nel

2018. Prima tappa: le Isole Canarie. Buon

Non è da meno Francesca Carignani,

armatrice romana di un GS 46 e autrice

del blog P’acá y P’allá, che con suo marito

ha scelto di compiere uno straordinario

viaggio: 6 mesi per mare, oltre 4.000

miglia percorse, 54 isole greche visitate

e un passaggio in Turchia tra Turgutreis e

Fethyie.

Grand Soleil is not only competition, but

also passion. And that’s exactly what these

four characters have in common. Beyond

age, nationality and gender, Grand Soleil

has gone along these four owners in their

trip across the ocean.

Lele Panzeri, aged 65, is the owner of

Carletto Primo, a Grand Soleil 46 dated 1987.

He is crossing the Atlantic Ocean and the

Mediterranean Sea, from Santo Domingo to

Carloforte (Sardinia). Congrats, Lele!

Anne-Cécile and Damien come from

France. They are the owners of Yaga, a

Grand Soleil 34 and have literally done his

travel around the world. Charlotte Krebs,

who took part at GS Cup last May with her

GS 40 “Paperini”, has begun her Atlantic

Ocean crossing and will probably conclude

it next year. First stop: the Canary Island.

Il Cantiere del Pardo è sempre stato

conosciuto per saper coniugare il comfort e

la qualità del prodotto con le performance.

Il nuovo GS 48’ si prefigge non solo di

raggiungere ma di migliorare questi

obiettivi ed è per questo che per il progetto

abbiamo utilizzato tecniche d’avanguardia

quali analisi fluodinamica CFD per carena

ed appendici, analisi strutturali FEM

per tutte le parti strutturali, il tutto per

ottenere una barca veloce, leggera e rigida

allo stesso tempo.

Il generoso baglio e bordo libero hanno

permesso di ottenere ampi e comodi

interni realizzati con materiali di qualità

secondo l’inconfondibile stile Grand Soleil.

Il progetto del GS 80 è nato dalla volontà

del Cantiere del Pardo e di Adria Sail

di creare una sinergia per mettere sul

mercato un’imbarcazione di 80 piedi che

esprima l’affidabilità del marchio GS e le

capacità di AS nella realizzazione di barche

custom e semi custom maturate in decenni

di esperienza.

La costruzione dell’imbarcazione è

realizzata da stampi femmina per scafo e

coperta, le fibre sono tutte in carbonio multi

assiale con anime di PVC a cellula chiusa,

sotto vuoto, infuse con resina epossidica e

post curate a 65°.

La barca sul piano estetico del ponte e

dell’opera viva ha una forte personalità,

caratterizzata dai suoi volumi con bordo

libero alto, prua e cavallino rovescio, un

pronunciato raccordo tra scafo e ponte,

fiancate a prua verticali e a poppa svasate.

La tuga bassa e slanciata, introduce un

nuovo elemento estetico nella tradizione

del Cantiere Del Pardo ma conserva un

family feeling con gli altri modelli GS

attualmente in produzione.

Cantiere del Pardo has always known

how to perfectly combine quality,

comfort and performance.

The new GS 48’ goes over these

characteristics. Thanks to avant-garde

and first-class technologies such as

the Computational Fluid Dynamics

(CFD) for the hull and the attachments

and the FEM structural analysis for all

the structures, fastness, lightness and

rigidity are guaranteed.

In addition to this, its wide beam and free

board give greater space and comfort

to the interiors, characterized by the

unique quality of Grand Soleil materials.

The GS 80 project was born from the will

of Cantiere del Pardo and Adria Sail to

create a synergy that will bring a new 80

footer boat into the market. This project

expresses Grand Soleil brand reliability

and the Adria Sail ability to build custom

and semi custom boats which matured

in decades of experience.

The construction of the boat is made of

female molds for the hull and deck, the

fibers are all in multi-axial carbon with

closed-cell PVC core vacuum-infused

with epoxy and post cured at 65°.

The boat on the aesthetic plan of the

deck and hull has a strong personality,

characterized by its high volumes

and free boards, with a reversed bow,

defined connection between hull and

deck, vertical sideboards in bow and

flanked in stern. The low and slender

deck introduce a new aesthetic element

in the Cantiere Del Pardo’s tradition yet

maintain a family feeling with other GS

models currently in production.

L’albero e il sartiame vengono testati

in cantiere prima della partenza della

barca, per assicurare che tutto si combini

perfettamente e per fornire ai velai tutte le

informazioni necessarie.

Mast and rigging test is made in the yard

before the departure of the boat to ensure

sull’esecuzione delle lavorazioni e

sulla conformità alle scelte del proprio

armatore. In fase di consegna, il cantiere

accompagna i propri clienti servendosi

di punti varo ufficiali, che seguono le

barche anche nella fase dell’assistenza

post-vendita.

Controlling over each stage, from

project to launch, guarantees the best

quality. The Yard sends information

and images to the owners in order to

inform them about the phases of the

boat construction. An accurate quality

control process goes together with the

creation of each Grand Soleil. Many

ongoing controls of the whole building

process are necessary to ensure that the

owner is satisfied. During the delivery

phase, the Yard team accompanies

customers using official and guaranteed

launch points. Moreover, it follows all the

guarantee document aspects and after-

sales phase.

Le varie fasi sono gestite e controllate

dall’Ufficio Tecnico interno, totalmente

dedicato al raggiungimento del miglior

risultato possibile in termini di qualità e

affidabilità.

Tutti gli interni sono disegnati in 2D/3D

CAD e vengono poi trasformati in realtà

costruendo un mock up in scala 1:1, utile

per poter effettuare verifiche realistiche

e aggiustamenti sia a livello pratico che

estetico.

Scafo, chiglia e piano velico sono il

risultato di studi di aerodinamica e

idrodinamica, effettuati utilizzando un

software CFD (Computational Fluid

Dynamics).

Le fondamenta di Grand Soleil si basano

su ricerca e sviluppo, frutto dell’insieme

di un team di esperti, tecnologie

all’avanguardia, programmi di ultima

generazione e i materiali della migliore

qualità presenti oggi sul mercato.

Each stage is managed and controlled by

a large internal technical office working

to achieve the best possible quality and

reliability.

The interiors are designed in 2D/3D CAD.

They are realized into a real sized 1:1 mock

up in order verify all the measurements

as well as the ergonomics and aesthetics

features. After the approval of the mock

up, the interiors are cut using a CNC

machine.

Scientific studies on hydrodynamics

and aerodynamics, together with

Computational Fluid Dynamics software

(CFD), are necessary in order to develop

the hull shapes, the sail plan and the

keels.

Research and development are Grand

Soleil’s basis. Thanks to an experienced
