Irregular verbs

The verb ir means to go. It is conjugated like this:

Yo voy nosotros vamos

Tú vas vosotoros vais

Él, Ella, Ud va Ellos, Ellas, Uds. van

Use the forms of the verb ir in the following sentences.

The verb estar means to be located or to be (emotionally)

Ser and estar are similar in English but very different in Spanish – Estar can only be used for location and feelings, ser can be used for many other things; nationality, personality, physical description, someone’s job, what something is made of, etc.
