THE RIGHT PUMPFOR YOUR JOB

6" sound-attenuated pumps at a road/bridge construction project.

We have built our reputation on the workhorses of the construction pump market: priming-assisted and self-priming centrifugal trash pumps. These dependable, versatile performers help contractors move large volumes of water rapidly, even when sticks, stones and debris would normally present a problem.

We know that many jobs don’t end when the crew goes home, so we manufacture a complete line of submersible pumps that can be left unattended for extended periods of time, quietly working overtime beneath the water level. Submersible pumps excel in pumping water from narrow coffer dams and deep excavations.

Gorman-Rupp also manufactures a line of diaphragm pumps that efficiently carry mud and sand-laden water away from construction sites.

OTS Pumps by Gorman-Rupp are a line of economical, lightweight pumps designed for easy portability in the field.

Gorman-Rupp’s experience and commitment to innovation in pump design guarantees our position of leadership in the construction market for years to come.

Superior products require state-of-the-art facilities, and Gorman-Rupp’s manufacturing plants are among the most efficient and modern facilities in the world. We continuously update our plants and employ the latest technology to ensure our products are the most reliable in the industry. Our commitment to engineering and manufacturing superiority has remained unchanged over the years. We realize that modern, efficient facilities are necessary for providing superior fluid-handling solutions.

Gorman-Rupp’s extra heavy-duty self-priming centrifugal trash pumps have the muscle and stamina to handle really tough pumping jobs. When stones, sticks, rags and construction debris clog other pumps, Gorman-Rupp trash pumps take over.

Depending on the model, these pumps can pass up to 3" diameter spherical solids.

Gorman-Rupp trash pumps feature an exclusive removable coverplate that provides quick and easy access to the impeller for inspection or service without removing any hoses or piping.

Gorman-Rupp also offers trash pumps with Auto-Start controls. Auto-Start controls start and stop the pump with input from a liquid level sensor. Pumps with this option start only when there is water to pump and turn off when the water reaches the desired level. There is never any need to run pumps dry, wasting fuel and adding to costly engine overhauls.

Gorman-Rupp Prime Aire® (PA Series) Prime Aire PlusTM (PAH Series) and Redi-Prime® (RP Series) Trash Pumps are the perfect solution for sewage bypass operations, construction site dewatering and other applications where intermittent flow can be problem. These units feature our positive priming system that virtually eliminates leaks, reducing environmental concerns and giving the unique capability to operate under flooded suction staging conditions. Available with Auto-Start controls.

Gorman-Rupp offers several models of high-volume, high-pressure self-priming and standard centrifugal pumps. These high efficiency pumps have few moving parts, so maintenance and service are minimal.

Power Take-Off self-priming centrifugal pumps are ideal for dust control on construction sites and mines, and on water trucks. No check valves means better

suction when handling fluids.

Gorman-Rupp manufactures a full line of self-priming centrifugal pumps designed specifically for pumping clear, non-abrasive petroleum products. Straight-in suction designs allow these pumps to operate at higher suction lifts than most other self-priming centrifugal pumps. The are available in close-coupled, electric motor driven and engine driven models.

OTS (Off-the-Shelf) Pumps are a complete line of small pumps, including self-priming, standard centrifugal, diaphragm, submersible, mag drive, peristaltic, bellows, gear and piston models. Drive options include engines, electric motors or basic pedestal configurations. Over 600 models are available in two weeks or less and 200 models are available off-the-shelf.

Gorman-Rupp manufactures a full line of self-priming centrifugal pumps specially designed for dirty water, limited solids and clear water applications. Gorman-Rupp’s heavy-duty, self-priming centrifugal pumps operate above the water level allowing the pump to operate more efficiently at higher suction levels than most other pumps.

Gorman-Rupp submersibles overcome the conventionallimitation of a 28' suction lift, making them ideal for high-head, high-volume applications. Widebase models are designed for open pits and quarries. Slimline models are ideal for drilled wells and narrow openings.
