“I had an awesome experience at the conference, which was
very informative and enhanced my knowledge base.”
“This was a great conference! Totally worth the time and
travel. I rarely attend events at which I get so much
valuable, usable information (and I attend a lot of
conferences). Bravo!”
“Great convening on all counts. I made some great
connections at this conference.”
share what is being learned (often the hard way)
from the initiatives underway in the 300+ GLR
communities. Sessions will explore the implications
for alignment, including possible opportunities for
co-investing, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
July 16-17 – CLIP XCHANGE, an interactive
gathering organized to explore the potential of
CGLR’s Community Learning for Impact &

Charter Subscribers. Designed to harness and
deploy the experience, expertise and energy of
CGLR’s networks of communities, partners and
funders, CLIP functions as a cooperative online tool

question.

Dr. Nadine Burke-Harris was a keynote speaker at GLR Week
2018. Last January, Governor Gavin Newsom appointed her as
California’s rst Surgeon General. In a statement, Governor
Newsom said, “Her work will focus on combating the root
causes of serious health conditions — like adverse childhood
experiences and toxic stress — and using the platform of
Surgeon General to reach young families across the state.”
Plan to be part of this year's high-value, high-octane
gathering! Register now to save your spot (and
some cash!) using the reduced rate. The early bird
discount registration expires April 15. Conference
hotel rates at the Renaissance Washington, DC
Downtown Hotel are available until June 19. We
look forward to seeing you this summer in
Washington, DC!
