PUBLIC AWARENESS & HEALTH CARE
Public health refers to "the science and art of preventing disease, prolonging life andpromoting health through organized efforts and informed choices of society, organizations, public and private, communities and individuals. It is concerned withthreats to health based on population health analysis. The population in question canbe as small as a handful of people, or as large as all the inhabitants of several continents(for instance, in the case of a pandemic). The dimensions of health can encompass "astate of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence ofdisease or infirmity", as defined by the United Nations' World Health Organization.[2]Public health incorporates the interdisciplinary approaches of epidemiology, biostatistics and health services. Environmental health, community health, behavioralhealth, health economics, public policy, insurance medicine and occupational safetyand health are other important subfields.
The focus of public health intervention is to improve health and quality of life throughprevention and treatment of disease and other physical and mental health conditions. This is done through surveillance of cases and health indicators, and through promotionof healthy behaviors. Examples of common public health measures include Promotionof hand washing, breastfeeding, delivery of vaccinations, and distribution of condomsto control the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR BEGINNERSAND ADVANCE
Project Management has developed in order to plan, co-ordinate and control thecomplex and diverse activities of modern industrial and commercial projects. Allprojects share one common characteristic - the projection of ideas and activities intonew endeavors.
The purpose of project management is to foresee or predict as many dangers andproblems as possible; and to plan, organize and control activities so that the project iscompleted as successfully as possible in spite of all the risks. The ever-present elementof risk and uncertainty means that events and tasks leading to completion can never beforetold with absolute accuracy. For some complex or advanced projects, even thepossibility of successful completion might be of serious doubt.
Effective objectives in project management are specific. A specific objective increasesthe chances of leading to a specific outcome. Therefore objectives shouldn't be vague, such as "to improve customer relations," because they are not measurable. Objectivesshould show how successful a project has been, for example "to reduce customercomplaints by 50%" would be a good objective. The measure can be, in some cases, asimple yes or no answer, for example, "did we reduce the number of customercomplaints by 50%?"
