1 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This report is based on the Global Drive Test that was performed for Multan city in W49-2010 (01-12-2010 to 03-12-2010) under the scope of the Optimization Services Contract.



2 DRIVE TEST RESULTS

This section presents the Coverage & Quality of Mobilink network which has been measured during the global drive test. In addition to the Coverage & Quality plots, Network KPIs have also been included in the report.

Alcatel has used TEMS Investigation Drive Test tool for this Air Interface Measurement

and the KPIs have been processed using TEMS Reporter Generator. However, CSSR & CDR are calculated on real count basis so as to have more accurate KPIs.

1 Call was dragged on “MUL8050A” degrading the quality. 1201_08 Log file

High FER on the cell degrading the SQI at the time of DT, also restricting HO to other potential neighbors, Outages on the site reported to OAN;

Down DCS and HW outages on MUL7921 reported to OAN, still not resolved.

1 DCS Frequency “643” on MUL4616B found interfered with “MUL7219A”. 1201_25_03 Log file

Re-design proposed for overshooting MUL7219A, also change frequency for MUL4616B from 643 to 630. Change RXLEV_DL_ZONE(dBm) from -88 to -85.

5 Voice Quality Voice quality is judged upon the Frame erasure rate. Even while experiencing bad Rx_Qual, the voice Quality still could be maintained.

10 Conclusion The CSSR has maintained on 98.64%.Around 369 calls were attempted and 05 calls were blocked. The HSR remains at 100% with 447 HO attempts. No HO failure and No Call Drop occurred which were deeply analyzed and Recommendation and actions were also taken accordingly. Bad Quality and Coverage Areas are also highlighted and necessary actions are also taken to resolve the problem.
