features

gDoc PDf server consists of three modulesthat work together seamlessly to automateand optimize PDF file conversion: SmartInputand Queuer control the input and outputpaths for your files, while the gDoc PDFModule creates the optimized PDF files.

smartInputSmartInput is the gateway

through which jobs enter

the workflow. It

continuously monitors hot

folders on the network for

PostScript or TIFF files dropped there by

end-users, or files put there by print drivers in a

process driven by end-user workflow

processes. As a result, users are free to perform

other tasks instead of waiting for system

resources to become available.

QueuergDoc PDf server

includes full automation

of input and output

queues.The Queuer

provides full administrator

control of jobs coming into a PDF-creation

workflow, including requeuing, reprioritizing,

placing jobs on hold, searching for unfinished

or finished jobs, and previewing jobs. The

Queuer also delivers jobs to multiple output

locations simultaneously. It continuously

reviews the status of various devices and

instantly sends files as soon as the previous job

has been completed.

gDoc PDf ModuleThe gDoc PDF Module

consumes EPS, TIFF and

PostScript and produces PDF

files. The module is located in

the workflow after a

SmartInput or Queuer module. The PDF files

generated by the module can be made

available to other systems, or other steps in

your workflow, via another Queuer module.

The PDF files produced by the gDoc PDF

creation Module are fully compliant with the

PDF 1.5 specification. Features such as 128-bit

encryption and fast web view are supported.

Administrators are able to customize PDF

configuration settings allowing companies to

promote the use of corporate standards.
