Modern machine tools have very high accuracy measurement feedback systems; when used with today’s micron accuracy

measuring probes and PowerINSPECT OMV they become very versatile inspection tools.

The machine tool accuracy can easily be verified by measuring a calibrated component on the machine. Simply generate

an inspection sequence for the component within PowerINSPECT OMV to generate a probe path part program. Run the

program on the machine and view the results report. The machine verification report can also be passed to the customer

as a record of the machine’s accuracy.

Significantly reduce your inspection time by removing the need to transfer the component from the machine to another

measuring device. Verify any critical dimensions before taking the component off its fixturing, so removing break-down

and setup time should re-work be necessary.
