What’s New Next YearNew Courses:• AGR/SCI - PSAA (Physical Science Applications in Agriculture)

○ Course will focus on Chemistry and Physics applications of science as they apply to agriculture

○ Take as either an Ag or Science course

• FACS - Intro to Education (Dual Credit course!) ○ Course will focus on the American education system and

on teaching as a profession.

• MAT - Intro to Statistics (Dual Credit course!) ○ Course will focus on mathematical reasoning and the

solving of real-life problems, rather than on routine skills and appreciation

What’s New Next YearBlended Courses

1. Similar to college classes - a significant amount of work completed outside of classroom

2. Expose students to a flexible schedule to help them transition to college or the workplace

3. Organization, communication skills, and self-advocacy are required for these courses.

4. In advance, teachers let students know the days they will report to the classroom (required attendance days) and the days in which students have the flexibility to work outside the classroom (flex days). Usually averages to about 3-4 days in class with 1-2 days of flex.

**If your grade is below a C, you will be required to attend classes all days in order to get the assistance you need.**

Local businesses will consider students with the technology concentration as stronger candidates for technology related positions than other applicants without the concentration.
