Alignment with objective-
The culture of Big Bazaar is helping to achieve the organizations goal-
HRincluded tohire the appropriate behavior needed-In Big Bazaar HR is also included to hire those people who have the same
cultural understanding according to big bazaar. This is responsibility of HR
manager to hire the people having appropriate behavior needed by the
organization. Thus it helps them to achieve the organizations goal and
objectives both.
Flexibility-Big Bazaar has flexible culture like they manage them according to region
vise. Like they manage south Indians according to their culture and to north
same in their manner. But values remain same.
Collectivism-In Big Bazaar target is given in collective manner not to the individuals.Because there is work family culture. Every employee has to do their work
in a group as a family so thus they feel comfortable and they give their best.
Eventsand competitive environment-They always organize cultural events to encourage their employee. It is
organized on the workplace and also in outsides.
We can take the example of this Navratra they organized event for those
who had fast. It was a competition and after winning, they won the prizes.
So this is fun and joy. It makes customer as well as employee happy. It gives
them a good and healthy working environment and helps them to increase
their productivity for achieving organizations goals and objectives.

Motivational factors (work family culture)-In big bazaar whole organization is a family and employees are family
member. So this environment gives them a feel that we are in a family and
we should make it profitable as much as we can.
Reward system for business success-After completing task successfully every employee is rewarded as a whole.
It can be in monetary and non monetary form. So such kind of culture
always motivates its employees to do their task well.
Specialized training centre known as GURUKUL-Big bazaar trains and develops employees through its own specialized
training centre known as GURUKUL.
It is found that more than 60% of employees of the age group of 20-35.This

Recommendation
Liberal working- the floor employees who are placed on the racks to helpcustomer s find the product easily. Most the time they are found together
gossiping with each other. It can be managed by proper guidance from the
management.
Regular recruitment should not be done; it might become hindrance to theculture of the organization because the new employees will take a certain
time to grasp the culture of the Big Bazaar.
HR can be taken in to consideration to recruit the candidates who have thetechnical and behavioral skills needed to perform that job and to fit in the
culture.
