Example: Steven

He has a very high income but a low Net Worth

Mom said: “Rich people are greedy. You should make enough money just to get by. After that, you are a pig.”

He was verbally conditioned to believe “rich people are greedy” by his mom. Steven loved his mom and did not want his mother to disapprove of him. If he were to get rich, she would not approve. Therefore the only thing for him to do is to spend all of the extra money. Otherwise he would be a “pig”.

If one were to choose being rich and being approved by mom, most people would choose being rich a chance. Being rich seems like a logical choice.

When the subconscious mind must choose between the rooted emotions and logic, emotions will almost always win.
