Dolphin Echo Principal’s Report This week the year 3’s and 4’s returned to Anglesea for their annual camp experience and on all accounts had a fantastic time getting to know each other, meeting new challenges and honing skills. They certainly astounded instructors, staff and parent helpers with their ability to “just get in and give it a go” and as always were hugely supportive of each other. A school camp is no romp in the park, or time off for teachers as anyone who attends will attest to ~ so a special thanks to all the adults for their 24/7 care of our students and a big thankyou to Mr Ahearn for his organisation of the entire experience. Next cab off the rank will be the 5/6 group who will head to Narmbool in May. Both groups have planned camping experiences with emphasis on social emotional growth and environmental learning. If you are an early years parent you may have received your very own post-secret invitation from your child. We would love to have as many parents, siblings and community members as possible contribute their own post-secrets for a community art work. Principal’s Report

This week the year 3’s and 4’s returned to Anglesea for their annual camp experience and on all accounts had a fantastic time getting to know each other, meeting new challenges and honing skills. Creak went the glass lid as the octopus opened it. I jumped out, crawled across the floor then onto the table and saw the crabs. It cleverly unscrewed the lid, sucked out the bodies of the crabs and left the shells. Then, screwing back on the lid it cunningly went back into its tank. Lucy Cooper

“Splash” as Ryder and I drag our feet into the freezing cold water. With a net the size of two grown ups lying down I see two silver dots zooming into the net as fast as lightning. I yell out to Ryder “we have got something, let’s head in.” We drag the net in. “Ryder, we caught some and when I say some, I mean about 15!” Louis Vuillermin

“Brrrrrr” the water was freezing. I was getting used to it. My first time surfing! The waves were thundering down to the shore, “rumble, rumble.” I was paddling as fast as I could. I can’t believe it, I was SURFING. The wave was so big it pushed me all the way to the shore. “Woohoo”. Amali Allbutt
