    PERSONAL MISSION STATEMENT

I believe in living each day to the fullest. I believe in treating others wit the same respect that I

myself deserve. I want to build healthy relationships with others in which we can become each

others biggest advocates. I want to grow stronger with each accomplishment and even stronger

with each setback or challenge. I believe everything happens for a reason and that God has a

plan for everyone. I want to be guided by my values and beliefs. I want to act as if I have

nothing to lose, because in reality, there truly is nothing to lose. I want to continuously promote

and foster a cooperative environment wherever I go. I want to make everyone feel welcome in

my presence, and yet retain my strength and individuality. I will use my God given talents as

    communicator to teach others.

I long to raise a happy, healthy, well- adjusted family by listening to their needs and teaching

them to be self sufficient. It is my aim to help the broke, down - trodden, desperate people of

this world see that there is hope. I want my community in becoming a better place or its citizens

to have better schools, better homes, better lives and brighter future. I want to help the youth

believe in themselves and help them develop their God given talents. I want to volunteer my

time, talents and resources to provide development opportunities for disadvantaged children. I

want to use my education and experience to motivate others to want better oral hygiene for

themselves and their families. I want to make a difference in whichever community I find

myself by selectively giving some of my earnings to those in need.

Discovering my mission is the greatest thing that ever happened. God has created me in a unique

way. I believe what I am made of is completely different from others and no one can possess the

qualities I have. It is meant for me and only me. If God has given me all these then I see it as an

obligation for me to also help others and that is my mission to accomplish. I want to educate,

motivate and enable myself and all those who know me to achieve self actualization and become

everything that God destined us to be. I will be an optimist and enjoy everything that happens to

me and everything I do. I want to be known by my family as a woman who loved and cared; by

my friends as someone who was always there; by everyone as a fair, candid, responsible and

meticulous individual. I want to be a good and supportive wife. With this, I will create a loving

and peaceful home, a sanctuary that will inspire my family and a haven for our family and

friends to gather and share lifes ups and downs. I want to ensure I respect anyone who ever

came across me and to earn his or her respect in return. I believe that every action I take and

every thought I have is directed by a sense of value and integrity that no one but God can

question. I hope to live a life without regrets.

Basically I want to be used by God as a conduit to change the lives of people especially the

youth and be honest and trustworthy. All I want to accomplish, I want to do it with God and

with the support of those who share my dream. I want to strong in the Lord and I am currently

practicing that NOW! I want to be me. I want to be open and truthful, to know and do what is

right. When I think of defenseless children, my heart beats. I seek to advocate for them and

seek redress when necessary. I also want to help discover their God given purpose and unleash

them to the benefit o the society. In attitude and character, I want to relate to people well. I

believe in doing that, I will become sensitive to their and solve them. Helping people discover

who they are can only be enhanced through the way I communicate to people. in all my

speeches I want to motivate people and encourage them and finally influence them and finally

influence them through my leadership skills.

I want to show true love to my family and friends even when they do not return it. I crave to be

part of them. I dont want to be living a faade. I want people to see the real me. I do not want to

hide her anymore. I want people to know that they can believe in me so I have to be less

    against

    MY PRAYER PSALM 119

Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to t he law of the Lord. Blessed

are they who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart. They do nothing wrong; they

walk in his ways. You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed. Oh that my ways

were steadfast in obeying your decrees! Then I would not be put o shame. When I consider all

your commands. I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws. I will

obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me.

How can a young man keep his ways pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with

all my heart; do not let me stay from your commands. I have hidden your words in my heart that

I might not sin against you. Praise be to you, O Lord; teach me your decrees. With my lips Irecount all the laws that come form your mouth. I rejoice in following your statutes as one

rejoices in great riches. I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. I delight in your

decrees; I will not neglect your word.

Do good to your servant and I will live; I will obey your word. Open my eyes that I may see

wonderful things in your law. I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me.

My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times. You rebuke the arrogant, who

cursed and who stray from your commands. Remove from me scorn and contempt, for I keep

    your statutes

    1. INTRODUCTION

The HuD Group is a dynamic, Christian, not-for-profit human development group

registered under the Companies Code of the Republic of Ghana in 2003.

    VISION STATEMENT

The HuD Groups vision is to inspire and empower Young People to discover and fulfil

their God-given purpose and reach their full potential.

    PURPOSE STATEMENT

We exist tothrough our People, Products, Programmes and Placeshonour God [1.

Worship], reach out to Young People in the world [2. Missions] and connect them [3. Fellowship], to help

by inspiring & empowering them to discover and fulfil their God-given purpose and

reach their full potential [5. Ministry].

    STRATEGIC PLAN

2003~2006 A.D. ESTABLISHMENT (of systems and structures) in Accra

2006~2009 A.D. EXPANSION Nationwide (each Regional Capital)

2009~2012 A.D. EXTENSION into Africa (major cities)

    Key landmarks:

    The HuD Movement

    2. PRIMARY AIM

    Why we exist

    We exist to:

    1. Form an active and interactive community of young people desirous to discoverand fulfil their God given purpose and reach their full potential through Projectand School clubs.*

    2. Follow up on Patrons (persons who have patronised or have had contact with anyof our 4 Ps) for deeper and longer lasting impact and relationship.

    3. Establish an army of foot soldiers to spread the HuD Groups message beyond thegroups present and immediate circle of control and influence.

What unique thing will it bring to the overall HuD vision?

Like the goal of the HuD Group, the HuD Movement actually does the inspiring and

empowering of Young people by the running ofclubs and interacting with our patrons.

We also create an already made market for more of our 4 Ps. Another unique

contribution this department brings to the overall vision is the attention it gives to people

through small group interaction and one-on-one interaction (a contrast from HuD

    Institute)

@@@What will our division look like when we are done?

A self-sustaining, semi-autonomous consultancy with a good number of well

knowledgeable, skilled and warm staff/volunteers who are expert in adolescence and

youth issues, excellent counsellors, role models

What kind of Personal Mission Statement (ones Primary Aim in life) of

Director and prospective members of this division will fall in line with this

    divisions Primary Aim?

The HuD Movement would need people orientedstaff; a staff that have a passion for

the total growth of young people. They must have personal characteristics of

Genuineness, empathy, unconditional positive regard for all persons irrespective of their

life history. Again, this work will require persons who visibly practice what they

teach/preach, thus being a model of excellence or total living.

    6. PEOPLE STRATEGY

The HuD Movement inspires and empowers People. It is however People who

reach out to People! To get our staff to fulfil our primary aim, we must practice what

we preach. We teach/preach the values and principles that guide the HuD Group-

excellence, the Proto principle, community, influence, team spirit, leadership, honesty, chastity, sacrifice, humility, Purpose, stewardship, initiative, respect,

Personal development etc. Thus, this department would live, work and serve (fulfil

our purpose) through the following tenets:

    1. Each staff must identify his S-H-A-P-E and be sure this department suits hisS-H-A-P-E.

    2. We must show his willingness/commitment to serve by fulfilling all theformalities, e.g. Registration, training & probation process.

    3. To ensure that the Department and Group vision is understood by each staff,we would constantly share the vision, i.e. at all staff meetings and trainingprogrammes.

    4. We would learn and serve in an environment characterised by Warmth-we would be friendly, kind and sincere with one another.

Respect- we would hold each other in high esteem, never put another down. Encouragement-We would support each other through prayer, presence and

presents/appreciation. Team spirit-We would synergise our gifts, abilities and talents to the ultimate

good of the department, our goal and to those we serve. Sacrifice- We would serve and even deny ourselves for the sake of The Call.

() Love- We would reflect Christ in all we say and do. Only then can we Love

our neighbour as Christ loved us ()

    1. HIRING & FIRING-Please refer to Management Strategy above.

    2. APPRECIATION: In the sixth (6th) and twelfth (12th) month of every year, there would be a general staff meeting, during which each staff member wouldbe required to share at least one person they appreciate and write appreciationnotes to two others. (NB: all three could be spoken of if there is enough timefor every one to have a turn). In the Twelfth month, Members who have beenoutstanding, by general consensus of the whole department would be speciallyrewarded.

  • 8/3/2019 Freist - Copy

    28/47

    3. Our peoples system would be reviewed bi-annually at the general meetings.4. FUN TIME- We would have departmental fun times twice in a year. One

would solely be by and for the department, whilst the second would be withthe HuD Group as a whole.

    5. Etiquette& grooming: Godly decency would be our hall mark. We would dressdecently to suit every occasion for or with The HuD Group as well as forpersonal occasions.

@@@should be the same for the whole group!!!!@@@
