Assigned April 6, 2020; due April 17, 2020
Week 3 and 4 Art eLearning1. This is a 2 part Assignment.
2. First, you will gather items. a. The items you gather will be explained on the next slides.
3. Second, you will draw the items you gathered. a. Draw on any paper. b. Draw Large!! Fill the page! c. Use pencil, pen, crayons, etc… whatever you have!
Part 1 - Gather Items
You will gather items from around the house, to make a PORTRAIT! Maybe even items from outside? Your choice!!
What is a PORTRAIT?? A Portrait is a picture of a person or animal, primarily the FACE.
This found object PORTRAIT, will NOT Look like REAL LIFE!
Here are some great examples!!
Part 2 - Draw the PORTRAIT you made!!
Draw the portrait you made!
Start with pencil, drawing large on your paper.
If you have coloring supplies, then you can color it in - the colors that you see!
** Once you are done drawing, put your items away!! **
Famous Example!
Giuseppe Arcimboldo was an Italian painter best known for creating imaginative portrait heads made entirely of objects such as fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish and books
Notes - Maybe you need to do a few practices, before you get one you like - Go For It!
When you get one you like - write your name and grade on the back.
Put your Portrait in your folder, and bring back to your Teacher’s Tote.
