Among various food products, the NewBo market offers crafts sold by local vendors. Busch photo

Located at the intersection of 12th Avenue & 3rd Street SE, just across the river from Czech Village, the NewBo area occupies an entire square block. Joining the recently opened NewBo Books and the Brewed Cafe, the NewBo Market is the latest addition to this cultural hub promoting local products. Features of the NewBo Market include a Rotary Hall that currently hosts 24 local vendors and is also available for rent of seasonal events or parties, and the Kirkwood Culinary Kitchen, offering classes on both cooking and nutrition. Still to come is a Learning Garden for citizens to study basic gardening, and a Children’s Play Area.

Hours: Thursday 4PM-8PMSaturday 8AM-8PMSunday 10AM-6PM
