To oversee and co-ordinate the Mentorship Programme, the First Year Experience, the Early Warning System and the ‘at risk’ interventions.

To serve as a sounding board and offer support to the individual members of staff in charge of the various intervention processes and to ensure that different years and streams follow a consolidated approach in respect of these interventions.

To consult with the Academic Planning Committee and report to it where broader input on proposed measures to improve teaching and learning is required.

To report annually to the Faculty Board.

Faculty. To finalise timetables by 30 June of the preceding academic year. To ensure that planning is done in line with resourcing issues identified by the Faculty
