ROTARY CLUB OF VAPI – a Member Club of Rotary Interna�onal devoted to social work; established in 1985 an Educa�onal Trust named 'ROTARY FOUNDATION FOR EDUCATION AND LEARNING' popularly known as 'ROFEL' to provide educa�onal facili�es in the region at all levels. In the ini�al years, the trust organized and awarded scholarships to local students to enable them to study outside Vapi in various disciplines, ranging from engineering and medicine to business administra�on, arts and commerce. The Trust started the first college (Arts & Commerce College) in Vapi in 1989, followed by many educa�onal ins�tu�ons as follows:

Faculty Development Programme

The FDP programme on Research Methodology using latest so�wares will be a prac�cal and interac�ve programme aimed to develop an understanding in designing and carrying out research and guide teachers for research papers and disserta�on. This FDP will offer prac�cal hands on various approaches of using data analysis so�ware. It will provide a comprehensive understanding of research methodology that can be�er equip faculty to effec�vely guide their own research and students' research work. You will be introduced to various research methodologies, sta�s�cal concepts and quan�ta�ve techniques. The purpose of the workshop is to develop par�cipants into competent and confident users of various so�wares to enable them to conduct independent data analysis for their own research needs. The programme would provide the par�cipants hands-on experience in interpre�ng output from various so�ware packages like SPSS, AMOS.

Methodology

The programme focuses on maximizing hands on development of prac�cal skills and data analy�cal tools

A�er this workshop the par�cipants will be able: · To conceptualize the research problem and comprehend the

research process.· To develop understanding to apply various techniques using

various so�wares. · To develop an understanding of hands on session to analyse

and interpret data.
