Joy has been working as a temp in an office since her predecessor
retired. When she began to file invoices, she was confused to find that the M section was

Nearly 43% have conducted investigations of violations of company digital policies. And nearly a third (31%) have fired employees for violating those policies.

estimate their wait time to be shorter thanthose who didn't.
Employees displaying positive attitudes earned
greater tip wages than those who didn't.
Managers spend a total of 37-41 days a year correcting and
managing underperformance. The same study found that it takes an
average of 8 months of training for employees to fully reach expected
performance standards.
Customers spent 27% more when purchasing from employees in uniforms in comparison with
purchasing from salespeople who were not wearing uniforms.
A Sun Microsystems study found that employees who received mentoring had a 72% retention rate compared with 49% for those who didn't.
The average teenage texter sends more
than 3, 500 texts per month, or 116 per
day, 7 days a week. If only 1 minute texts, that would be about
2 hours each day.
Texters are four times more likely to disobey traffic lights, jaywalk or fail to look
both ways before crossing the street.

than others.
A 2011 study showed 53% of prospective employers
checked applicant social media profiles before hiring. Checks revealed that 1/3 of applicants misrepresented
their backgrounds.
