UNESCO ICT-CFT Domain Exploration Instructions: Under each domain, there are competency performance statements which describe what a teacher should know and be able to do. Review the domain assigned to you using criteria of relevance, clarity and coverage to assess each set of competency performance statements and progression across the approaches of Technology Literacy, Knowledge Deepening, and Knowledge Creation. Relevance Comments

Examine the domain by competency performance indicators and statements for the different levels of progression:

Do the competencies have relevance for your country contexts?

Are the statements adeqaute to the what teachers need to know/ need to be able to do with technology in school and classroom practice?

Tip! Consider what an ideal teacher using ICT would look like and brainstorm that teacher’s ICT competencies for the domain under review. Check these qualities against the competencies in the domain.

Clarity Comments

Are the statement progressions between the different levels of technology literacy, knowledge deepening and knowledge creation clear?

Will the competency statements be clear and understandable to student teachers, new teachers, practicing teachers, administrators and teacher educators who will use them?

Will it be possible for teacher educators to use the competencies to evaluate teacher practice?

Will it be possible for teachers to use the competencies statements for self-assessment of their practice?

Tip! Read the competency statements as if you are a student teacher or a practising teacher or an administrator. You can then highlight words or terms that are unclear and that may need further explanation for your learners.

Sangat jelas, guru yang berpengalaman seharusnya seiring dengan kemahiran literasi digital berdasarkan kurikulum yang dicadangkan.

Dapat membantu guru memilih teknologi ICT yang sesuai dalam penilaian seterus membantu guru dalam penyampaian PdP.

Guru perlu jelas, mahir dan tahu dalam penggunaan ICT untuk tujuan penilaian dan selari dengan kurikulum yang dicadangkan. Guru boleh memilih, membangun, membantu dan mencadangkan kepada rakan guru perisian, web dan sebagainya.
