SANTA CRUZ, t'AL, July 31.— The quiet beach at Hotel del Mar was the scene of a very exciting incident on Tuesday last. Several of the guests had noticed during the morning a sai.boat sailing- around the bay, but supposing it to be a fishing party no attention was given to it.
