Event Organiser Freelance Rock battle of the bands Stanwell Village 1 event for 16th Birthday, 2004 60-70 My first ever event was when I was 16 when I organised a battle of the bands night for mine and my friends bands. I hired the hall, printed the tickets and promoted the event through friends and family selling tickets in advance and on the door. I supplied the bands backline and arranged a lighting operator to come in and light the stage. It was basic but it was a success both in terms of crowd enjoyment and making a small profit at the end.
