    Welcome!

    We are pleased to inform you that in the dates 20 - 25 November 2013 we took part in the internationalseminar in the frame of the project "Evaluating inclusion EVS projects". The project Evaluating EVSinclusion projects has been realized with support of the Youth in ActionProgramme in a frameof Action 4.3 Youth Supports System (its Sub-Action 4.3 Training and Networking). Theproject was co-financed by Education, Audiovisual & Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).

    The seminar took place in Poland - Bystrzyca Kodzka, Klodzko, Dugopole Grne, Dugopole Zdrj andDlugopole Dolne, and we were one of the participants!

    It was the seminar counting a number of 31 participants from 10 countries:Poland, Turkey, Greece, Romania, Italy, Czech Republic, Spain, UnitedKingdom, Portugal and Latvia.

    The main aim of the project was to evaluate the short and long term EVSprojects that were dedicated to youth with fewer opportunities.

    Through the project Evaluating EVS inclusion projects we not only had theopportunity to share the good solutions and workingmethods we have but also talk over the problems weencounter during preparing and setting up different EVSprojects. During the seminar we had also evaluate theYouth in Action Programme and its changes betweenthe years 2007 -2013 and also the way how thechanges of the Programme affected our work and whatkind of impact it had on youth with fewer opportunities.

    During the seminar we participated in the followingactivities:

    - visiting host projects in Bystrzyca Kodzka town(Poland) coordinated by the organisation Europejskie

    Forum Modziezy: visiting kindergarden, common roomand Social Help Center;

    - visiting host projects in Kodzko town (Poland) coordinated by the organisation Europejskie ForumModziezy: 4 schools (Zesp Szk Integracyjnych im Jana Pawa II, Miejski Zesp Szk w Kodzku)and Muzeum Ziemi Kodzkiej;

    - visiting Euroweek project in Dlugopole Zdrj (Poland) workshop with youngsters and meeting with exvolunteers and mentors;

    - 7 different themed workshops:

    1 - disscusion of the host projects visited (in Bystrzyca Kodzka and Klodzko)with mentors of the volunteers;

    2 - problems encountered during implementation of the project whichincluded youngsters with fewer opportunities (hosting and sendingorganization);

    3 - crises (causes of conflict, conflict resolution.. );

    4 - preparation of projects for young people fromdisadvantaged backgrounds (the relevant aspects of theproject);

    5 - evaluation - the learining process of the volunteers withfewer opportunities. The methods used in the process ofnon-formal learning of volunteers. The role of the mentorand coordinator in the learning process;

    6 - the finacial evalution of the project: looking forsponsors, co-finacing and sharing grants, disseminatin ofthe project;

    7 - Future cooperation, project market.

    It was pleasure for us to meet our partners and discuss about inclusion projects in Europeso important for us all.
