The assignment was to make a product that we could sell, but we could only use the materials that was given to us. We got a plastic bag, coloured paper, straws, pencils, scissors, a plastic cup and tape.

After different suggestions from the members of the group we all finally decided that we were going to make a raincoat out of the blue garbage/plastic bag. We got the idea from the material because plastic is rain resistant and we could easily make a cut a out a coat from the bag with the scissors.

Who are the customers? The customers is everyone who lives in a rainy area, because without the rain the product is useless. It´s for kids and adults and it comes with a favorably price. The material is recyclable and is therefore good for the environment. It means that you don’t have to worry about being environmental friendly as long as you recycle the product when you don’t want it anymore.

Page 5: Erasmus+ uppgift

Why should you by it?The advantages with this product is that it´s cheap to purchase and it fulfills the needs of a raincoat, to keep you dry. Another advantage is the design, you can create your own shapes and just stick them on and they will stay.

Landscape toy

Our group created a toy for children in age 6-10 years. It was like a blue ocean (the blue trash bag)

with an island (the colored paper) and a lot of fishes and waves (the paper and straws) in the sea.

We also made a lighthouse on the top of the island with the plastic cup, the straws and with the

paperclips.

Our idea with the product is that this is a toy for c hildren were the children can make their own

landscape with these things. Our landscape is only an example of how you can do. All our material

will be sold in separate parts so the customer can produce a landscape by their own imagination.

Who will buy our product?

1. The product we will be selling is a toy for children in age 6-10 years. It’s like a kit where

the buyer can create an own landscape with his or her own mind. If they want to, they can

look at our example but they can also build by their own imagination.

2. Already in the first question we answered this one. Our client will be children in ages 6 to

10 years old, but most of the time the buyers will probably be the parents, but the

product is intended for the children.

3. The advantages with our product are that it is cheap and good for the environment. Our

material is recyclable. Our product is also good for the children’s imagination. We let them

use and develop their imagination.

Disadvantage with our product is that the quality is not the best. But that’s just because

our product is that cheap, which on the other hand is good, because than everyone have

the opportunity to buy our toy.

Carnival dressWhat we did was to create a carnival dress and then we figured out who the target group would be. Our customersfor the dress are primary children but also people who needs a dress before a carnival.

They will buy the product because they want to dress up for the carnival.

Pros/Cons+ one size - fit all+ cheaper than most dresses+ recycleble+ you can use it as an umbrella+ after the carnival you can use the dress as a bin.- quality is bad- noone knows about us, thus making it harder to sell the

product.

Skills1. Communication skills

You have to be flexible while working in a group. You have to let the other members say their opinion as well. To be empathetic is crucial in this types of tasks. Ofcourse you must be active in a group task. You can't just sit there not sharing your thoughts, then the group would manage better without you. So a good balance between listening and sharing gives the best final result. In our group the cooperation went well, one person had a leader spirit and she did a great job. In a group there is always different kinds of people and that´s a good thing. If everyone was stubborn it would be impossible make a final decision. The accuracy in this task was so important. We only had 10 minutes to create a garment so therefore it was more stress than accuracy.

2. Action skillsAll groups did a great job. Everybody worked together as a team, and the result was a team effort. We all listened to each other and let everyone talk. We had an open mind in the beginning and that didn't stop until the product was done. The transition from theory to reality was not so difficult, we had our material and our ideas were inventive from there.
