AP Language and Composition Scrutinize college-level prose for the
author’s rhetorical devices and strive to emulate those strategies in their writing
12th Grade
SENIORS
Challenging students with college-level reading through the study of contemporary literature.
Sharpening writing skills using a variety of rhetorical devices.
AP Literature and Composition Synthesize primary and secondary materials in
order to effectively analyze and critically respond to great works of literature

The Bayhawk Bulletin - Students write, edit, and
design the bi-monthly publication.
The Yearbook - Students write, edit, learn graphic
design and photography techniques, and manage
deadlines.
