Experience with Comos® PT
• Comos® PT is a very versatile tool
• Customization is easy (if you know what you want)
• We still spent quite some time to adapt to our standards
• Innotec is eager to learn from its customers
• Innotec has proven to be a real partner
• Data oriented workflow requires a change in attitude
• Engineers all “need” their old school symbols and data sheets

Concluding
What’s to be learned from out experience:
• Software tools only offer a basic infrastructure for supporting your workflow.
• Users still build their own data models, data sheets (1:1 old style), ISO symbols, etc.
• Data exchange between real life applications not standardized: did anyone say “STEP”?
Do we want to cooperate?
