ADMISSION Groups of 20 or more: $5 per student Tuesday–Thursday through May 31, 2020;
$7 per student Monday and Friday. Education programs are priced separately.
ADULT CHAPERONES School tours include one free chaperone for every 10 students.
Additional adults are $13 Tuesday–Thursday; $15 Monday and Friday
TIMED ENTRY The Museum features a timed entry system. Please arrive at the Group Entrance by your
designated entry time to ensure that your group will have access to the exhibit gallery as planned.
VISIT LENGTH Plan to spend approximately two hours in the core exhibit, plus an additional 50 minutes
if you’ve booked an education program.

A Hero at Sea: PT-109 and the 1960

In 1943, Lt. John F. Kennedy’s motor torpedo boat PT-109 was sunk during World
War II, prompting heroic actions by Kennedy that framed his public image in
1960. Learn about the impact of this extraordinary story on the 1960 presidential

veteran’s status as part of their political narrative.

of evidence found by crime scene investigators within the first 24 hours of the
Kennedy assassination. They will evaluate the accuracy of reports and eyewitness

CSI 1963: Voices from the

The Museum’s collection includes artifacts, photographs and films related to
the assassination crime scene investigation conducted at the Texas School Book
Depository building. Learn exactly what was in the crime scene investigative kit
that belonged to Lt. Carl Day, head of the Dallas Police Crime Scene Search Unit
in 1963, and read firsthand accounts of the investigation.

behind the 1964 civil rights demonstration in Dallas and how our local civil rights
