The Energy Savings Assistance Program is funded by California utility ratepayers and administered by Southern California Edison under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission.

These services may not be available in all areas. Certain restrictions, such as age, size and condition of the system or appliance to be replaced, may apply. All replacement refrigerators meet ENERGY STAR® standards. SCE installs white top-freezer models without extra features such as ice makers. Replacement size depends on the size of the old unit.

What is the cost to participate in the ESA Program?Participation is free for both tenants and property owners. A contractor may require a non-refundable co-payment for installations of central air conditioners and/or heat pumps.
