Upper age limit :

For Administrative Officer (On Deputation) - : 56 years as on 30.11.2011.

For Lower Division Clerk (Sl.No.06) - 25 years as on 30.11.201.For Attendant Grade –II (contractual appointment) - 25 years as on 30.11.2011.

For remaining posts - 30 years as on 30.11.2011. Relaxation : Relaxation as per Bihar Govt. Rule (i.e. SC/ST-05 years, Female of all categories

- 03 years & MBC/OBC - 03 years).

Reservation : Benefit of reservation will be given to Bihar State domicile only and the

applicant out-side the State of Bihar will not be entitled for the benefit of reservation.

(ii) Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Material management of a

recognised University/Institution or equivalent.

Experience in handling stores and keeping accounts in a store,

preferably Medical or a concern of repute in public or private sector.

OR

(C) (i) Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.

(ii) Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Material Management of

Qualification and Experience :-

Officers under the Central/State Govt., U.T. Administrations or of

Central/State Statutory/Autonomous Bodies holding analogous posts or with at least

3/5 of service in posts in the pay scale of Rs. 6500-200-10500 (Pre-revised), PB-2 Rs.

9300-34800+GP Rs. 4600 (Revised) or equivalent respectively and having a Degree

and Experience in administration and establishment matters and also preferably in

Accounts matters. Officers possessing MBA or PG Diploma in Personnel

Management shall be given preference.

Period of Deputation :- Initially for one year extendable up to 03 years.

** In case of non availability on deputation persons eligible for contract

appointment may be considered.

(C) CONTRACTUAL APPOINTMENT

3) Working Experience handling dead body in Forensic/Anatomy department.

Desirable

One year’s experience in sweeping, dusting or cleaning in a civil or military hospital

or in a good household, hotel or Government Department.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Application form can be downloaded from our website http: www.igims.org.The cost of

application form is Rs. 500/= Five hundred (Rs. 125/= One hundred Twenty Five for SC/ST

candidates) payable in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Director, IGIMS, Patna. Those

who download the application form must pay along-with application.

2. In addition to Pay, other allowances will be admissible as per Institute rule for regular

appointment only.

3. Stay in the campus is compulsory if accommodation is provided.

4. Reservation point and Relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as per reservation rule

of Govt. of Bihar. Benefit of reservation will be given to Bihar State domicile only and the

applicant out- side the State of Bihar will not be entitled for the benefit of reservation.

Persons working in Govt. Institution shall be given age relaxation of five years.

5. Employees of Government/Semi Government department must apply through proper

channel with NOC. In case of advance application “No Objection Certificate” must be

submitted at the time of interview failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the

Interview. Employed candidates if selected shall furnish discharge certificate from the

previous employer before joining this offer.

6. Application form and requisite fee for each post should be submitted separately.

7. Number of Post may increase or decrease as per discretion of the Institute.

8. The applications completed in all respect along with self attested photocopies of

certificates/testimonials and recent passport size photograph as well as requisite fee must

reach by registered/speed post/courier to the Director, IGIMS, Sheikhpura, Patna-14 (Bihar)

on or before 15.12.2011 till 03.30 P.M. The incomplete application and application received

after last date will not be considered. Institute will not be responsible for postal delay.



9. Handicapped candidates will be given the benefit of reservation & relaxation as per rule.

10. SC/ST candidate must attach their caste certificate duly issued/counter signed by the

concerned Circle Officer along with application form and MBC/OBC candidate must attach

their caste certificate along with certificate of exemption from creamy layer duly

issued/counter signed by the concerned Circle Officer with their application form, if claiming

for the benefit of reservation.

11. Candidate must write Advertisement No. and Name of the Post applied for on the top of

envelope in bold letter.12. The Director of the Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications

without assigning any reason.

13. Canvassing in any form will be disqualification.

14. For any further enquiry Institute’s Administrative Officer may be contacted during working

hours on working days.

15. (a) Persons appointed on contract basis against “C” (Contractual appointment) will not be

treated Institute regular employee and they will not be entitled for any facilities

payable/applicable for the regular employees of the Institute.

(b) Persons appointed on contract will neither claim nor their claim will be acceptable for any

regular appointment on the basis of their contract appointment.

16. Selected candidates for regular appointment shall be appointed initially for 11 months on

contractual basis and thereafter put on 02 years probation. They will only be regularized if

their performance and conduct during this period is found satisfactory by the Institute

administration.
