Emily  Flynn  College  of  Health  and  Human  Development  |  STUDENT  SPOTLIGHT

What are some challenges you have faced and how did you overcome them?

How has the College of Health and Human Development prepared you for your future?

I  struggled  my  first  semester  of  college  with  feeling  lonely  and  having  too  much  free  time.    I  got  involved  the  following  semester,  created  bonds,  and  met  new  people.

HEALTH  AND  HUMAN  DEVELOPMENT  STUDENTS  REACH  HIGHER!

The  College  of  Health  and  Human  Development  has  provided  many  opportunities  for  me  to  grow  as  a  student.    I  was  able  to  explore  the  CHHD  deeper  as  a  freshman  because  I  lived  on  the  college  themed  floor.

What are some benefits of being involved?

The  biggest  benefit  that  I  have  received  from  being  involved  in  knowledge  of  the  school  and  its  resources.    I  was  an  Orientation  Leader  in  the  summer  of  2015  and  that  position  helped  me  to  become  more  acquainted  with  the  university.    I  have  also  been  able  to  network  with  campus  faculty  as  well  as  other  students  who  can  help  me  stay

~Robert  Frost

How has CSUF prepared you for your future?

CSUF  has  encouraged  me  to  get  involved  and  reach  higher  with  my  education.    By  getting  involved  I  am  able  to  meet  new  people  and  explore  the  diversity  of  CSUF.
