The Power of Multi-Level Lists With multi-level lists you can convey separate ideas Making the slide neater And easier to read 3. Avoid Text Paragraphs When you write a lot, no one can really focus on what youre saying because theyll be too busy reading whatever is on the slide. So by the time youre actually done speaking, no one would have listened at all! Avoid big long paragraphs as they are frivolous and messy!INSTEAD, use short sentences like this! 4. Some General Tips Keep presentations simple Choose colors wisely! FONTS are important too Limit text on slides Charts are good! 5. Make effective use of PICTURES!! People identify with pictures They are simple and fun!Choose a RELEVANT photo and talk! (What do ducks have to do with PPT??) 6. Slide layouts are important!! Can you read this without tilting your head?Remember, Good Layouts Equal Effective Presentations! 7. No!!! Using photos off the Internet require citations! Try using Clip Art instead!(Insert)(Clip Art) 8. Last minute tips? Expand on ideas written on slides Speak and involve to the audience Note cards should be used 9.
