Exclusive to BERTHOUD, mechanical DPA regulation can beused for the TRACKER range. The VOLUX BERTHOUD dosingpump, driven by the sprayer wheel, ensures a constantvolume/ha independent of forward speed.

Double-acting piston pump with a capacity of 240l/min. or320l/min. as an option. The pump is driven by a PTO connectedto the sprayer wheel.The pump disengages thanks to an electrical-hydraulic controllocated in the cab terminal

How to adjust volume/Ha?The VOLUX pump is volumetric, therefore you have twomeans of controlling volume/ha:> Adjustment of pump drive speed (two speeds available).> Adjustment of piston travel; either manually on the pump or from the control panel using theTELEVOLUX option.

> The TELEVOLUX control

The optional TELEVOLUX terminal can beused to control volume/ha from the controlpanel thanks to a motor on the pump.This motor will adapt pump displacementto user demand.

Available from 24 to 33 m, the AXIALE boom is a benchmark product for BERTHOUD boomsThis boom is fitted on a central pivot pin near to its centre of gravity, and balance is maintained bysprings located between the fixed frame and the oscillating frameFor widths of 30 - 33 m, the AXIALE 2 boom integrates two independent arm/arm shock absorbers which limit the yaw of the boom during acceleration and braking phases

CONTINUOUS CIRCULATION (DP Tronic and EC Tronic only)Pneumatic anti-drip devices are used for continuous flow and allow for theinstantaneous opening or closing of the spray system.This system can be used, among other things, to achieve rapid priming at thestart of the plot, but also improve the effectiveness of rinsing and ensure theabsence of clogging at the ends of sections.A compressor at the rear of the device closes the system pneumatically.

BERTHOUD sprayers can also be equipped with semi-continuous flow. This system can allow the continuous flow of liquid while spraying to avoidclogging at the end of sections. This type of flow can be beneficial for users ofpowder products and for low-volume treatment operations.
