    In construction of roads and railways, reduced land take, convenient construction and good safety

    margins at reduced cost can be achieved by the use of EARTHMATE GRID geogrids

    reinforcement. In environmentally sensitive areas, steep vegetated slopes can often be built in

    place of the hard-faced structures that would be needed with conventional techniques.

    Failed slope reinstatementThe material of the failed slope can be excavated and reused with EARTHMATE GRID

    reinforcement to reinstate the failed area. This process has low cost and minimal impact on the

    local environment.

    Reinstatement of spent quarriesEARTHMATE GRID geogrids reinforcement; safe structures and permanent vegetation can be

    established to reintegrate spent quarries into the local environment.

    Environment protection of slopesEARTHMATE geogrids reinforcement can retain the face soil and encourage growth of vegetation.

    Natural vegetation will cover the whole facing, and special seeding coverage can be sowed to

    conform to surroundings if needed.

    Walls/Abutments Reinforcement

    An EARTHMATE Geogrid reinforced wall is composed of Geogrid, wall facing and fill. Because

    of the resistance of EARTHMATE geogrids to chemical and biological attack and its interlock

    with the fill, a wide range of fill materials may be used, including general backfill soil,

    construction waste, pulverized fuel ash(FPA),etc. Reinforced walls can be constructed quickly

    with simple technology at low cost. Wall and slope faces can be designed economically to suit the

    clients' requirement and to blend into the environment. Wall surface may be of brick, stone or

    fully vegetated.

    EARTHMATE Geogrid reinforced walls and abutments are tough and elastic composite structures

    of multiple layers of Geogrid and fill. They can accommodate base deformation and have

    particularly good resistance to vibration and earthquakes. EARTHMATE Geogrid reinforcement

    can improve the bearing capacity and factor of safety of a structure and reduce construction cost.

    Landfill

    EARTHMATE geogrids can be utilized with other geosynthetic materials in the base, cover,

    temporary pavements and banks of landfill sites. The use of EARTHMATE geogrids can reduce

    landfill costs, increase capacity and improve safety margins.

    A high level of resistance to UV light is given to EARTHMATE by the incorporation of ~ 2% of

    weathering grade carbon black, well dispersed in the polymer matrix. These products may be used

    for many years in exposed conditions.

    Chemical and Biological Resistance:

    EARTHMATE bi-axial geogrids are manufactured from polypropylene which is unaffected by all

    chemicals including acids, alkalis and salts, normally found in soils. Also, it is not a nutrient,

    therefore these not affected by microorganism in the soil.

    Resistance to Ultra-Vwlet Light

    A high level of resistance to UV light is given to EARTHMATE by the incorporation of ~ 2% of

    EARTHMATE POLYESTER GEOGRID

    Polyester Geogrid is a Knitting Geogrid, made of high tenacity PET yarns with PVC

    coating. Earthmate Geosynthetics is capable of designing and manufacturing product precisely as

    per requirements. The values given are indicative and correspond to average results obtained in

    The Polyester Geogrid adopts industrial high tensile strength polyester yarn, and is manufactured

    after completing a series of processes, such as preparation, woven, Post arrangement PVC coating

    with high temperature, etc.

    Raw material selection contains extreme significance. The industrial high tensile strength

    polyester yam adopted in the products is manufactured by our company itself, the production lines

    we adopt are entirely from Japanese Toray Company, TEK company, TMT Company, and the

    German Saurer AlIma Company, the production capacity of industrial polyester yarn is 30,000

    ton/year. Advanced production facility, efficient management polices, and market orientedphilosophies has earned honor within the industry, as well as acceptance from both domestic and

    heavily in purchasing several worlds' first class Geosynthetic production facilities. Including 3

    Wide High Speed Warp Preparation Machine, which is developed by the German Karl Mayer

    geogrids. Further more, the possession of 7 RS3MSU-N knitting machines developed by German

    Karl Mayer Company and COPCENTRA HS-2/ST Wholly Computerized and Wide Weft

    Insertion Knitting Machine developed by German Liba Company, ensure us to satisfy the

    international standard in weaving quality. The 5 meter width also reaches world's advanced

    standard. The coating process adopts the 5.5 meter width Post Coating Facility from Tai Wan,

    which ensures we have the capability of producing such polyester knitting geogrids with highly

    PVC coating.

    EARTHMATE GLASS FIBER GEOGRID

    Fiberglass Geogrid is kind of fine geosynthetic for enhancing road surface, old road, roadbed and

    soft soil foundation. It has become nonreplicable material in disposing asphalt road surface

    reflection crack. This product adopts high strength alkali free glass fiber and is woven into net

    backing material through advanced warp knitting technology and receives coating treatment. It is
