Enrichment ProgramEarl Haig offers an enrichment program in English, Math, SocialSciences, French, and Science from grades 9 to 11.  These coursesprovide students with additional challenges and opportunities forindependent learning, in addition to expanding your critical andanalytical thinking skills.

Student Success ProgramThis program is focused on assisting students who requireadditional support by providing learning skills, credit recovery orrescue, and tutoring support.  Students receive assistance in thedevelopment of study skills and organizational and timemanagement skills. This program uses a preventative model toensure both credit accumulation and skill development.  

Cooperative Education ProgramThis program integrates academic study with practical experience inbusiness and industry. This learning experience helps studentsmake informed decisions about future careers. Students alsodevelop the work habits, attitudes, and job skills necessary for asuccessful transition from secondary school to the workplace orpost-secondary education.

Computer and Information TechnologyEarl Haig Computer Studies and ICT programs provideopportunities for students to prepare for future careers in ICT.Courses focus on transferable skills, concepts of critical thinking,problem solving, independent study and labour market informationto enhance transitions to employment and post-secondary learning.

Student Life - Where You Belong

Earl Haig students have great opportunities to developleadership skills and have fun.  Earl Haig offers more than75 clubs and councils, as well a wide range of sportsteams.  Students help to organize our Dance Nights, artshows, Coffee House, and Zoom Film Festival.  Theyperform or attend our Music Showcase, One-Act plays,Symphony and Jazz Nights.  Earl Haig's Athletic Programoffers a wide range from traditional sports to specializedactivities such as rugby, martial arts training, golf, boys' andgirls' hockey, and ultimate frisbee. Earl Haig's intensive extra-curricular learning programsheighten awareness, appreciation and concern for globalissues and the environment.  Enriched overseasexperiences are available for travel to other countries andwe host international students through exchange programsto increase their understanding and awareness of globalissues.Cultural and arts studies are offered on our annual trips toGreece, Italy, and New York.  We have establishedinternational connections with China, England, France,Holland, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Mexico, and Taiwan.
