History of theInstitution

Shree Dev Bhoomi Institute of Education, Science and Technology run by Maa Gange Prasidhey EducationFoundation was founded by Mr. S.N.Nautiyal in 2004 keeping in view to access value based education

especially to the rural and desirous students. The Department of Education started to function with the firstbatch of B.Ed. Students in the session 2005-2006 with annual intake of 100. The Department got permissionfrom NCTE to start Master of Education (M.Ed.) course in the session 2007-08 with 25 intakes. Admissions inthese courses are made on the selection in the merit basis through entrance examination conducted by the

university. The Department has well qualified and experienced faculty lead by Prof. P.S.Rana. It hasadequate infrastructure, well equipped library -adequate number of text books, reference books and the

journals with internet and wi-fi facilities.
