The above project was successfully completed in Sep 2000. The support grid was a bar type suitable for a bed of structured packing. The liquid distributor was narrow trough type designed for an operating range of 5 to 1. DtEC was responsible for the complete hydraulic and mechanical design of the trays, internals and packing.

The above project was successfully completed in Sep 2000. 1 set Scale Baskets The scale baskets were mesh wire type. All equipment was mechanically designed in-house including the major beams with Finite Element analysis. The re-mixing quench assembly was designed for a relatively high pressure drop requiring the use of 6 major beams in a double arrangement – top set of beams 12mm thick with the bottom set of beams 40mm thick. The licensor was (Exxon-Mobil R & D).

MDH Reactor – HDS Unit DEA MineralOel AG , Wesserling

The above project was successfully completed in Aug 2001. For a large MDR Reactor (Diameter 4850mm) the following equipment was designed, manufactured, leak tested and supplied: Flash Pan Top Distributor Tray c/w Beams Collector Tray c/w Beams Mixing Chamber Flash Pan Middle Distributor Tray c/w Beams Quench Distributor Collector Tray c/w Beams Mixing Chamber Flash pan Bottom Distributor Tray c/w Beams All equipment was mechanically designed in-house including the beams with Finite Element Analysis. All equipment was assembled in a dummy reactor shell and leak tested at our works in the UK. The licensor (Exxon-Mobil R & D) witnessed the leak tests, which were successful on the first attempt.
