Fashioned Hamburgers. Wendy’s International LLC, together with its

subsidiaries, develops, operates, and franchises a network of quick-service

restaurants in the United States and internationally. The Wendy’s Company

is the world’s third largest quick-service hamburger company, and its

system includes more than 6,500 franchise and company restaurants in the

U.S. and 27 other countries and U.S. territories worldwide, with annual

revenues in excess of $2.48 billion. The company was formerly known as

the Wendy’s/Arby’s Group, Inc. and changed its name to The Wendy’s

Company in July 2011. The Wendy’s Company was founded in 1969 and is

headquartered in Dublin, Ohio.

Wendy’s menu consists primarily of hamburgers, chicken sandwiches,

French fries and beverages, including the Frosty. Restaurants offer the

Dave, single square-pattied burger made with fresh ground beef rather

than round frozen patties. Wendy’s uses these square hamburger patties –

which hang over the edge of a circular bun – as its signature item. Dave

sandwiches come in both “Junior” 1.78 ounce and “Single” 4 ounce patty
